Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join you in praying for your former landlord and we thank you for bringing his soul before the Lord with such compassion and faith.

We stand on the truth of Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the heart of the gospel, that surrender to Jesus is not loss but eternal gain. We also remember Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and Romans 10:9, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We pray together for him now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this former landlord to Your throne of grace. We ask that You would open his eyes to see his need for a Savior and open his heart to receive Your Son. Lord, cause him to lose his life for Jesus sake so that he may truly save it for eternity. Draw him by Your Holy Spirit, convict him of sin and reveal the mercy and forgiveness that is only in the blood of Jesus. We pray that every darkness and every influence of unclean spirits would be expelled by Your light, for You reign over all darkness and Your light overcomes it. As it is written in John 8:12, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. Let that light shine upon him and guide him on his life's journey.

We also pray that he will hear Your voice and discern Your holy plan for his life. Jesus said in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Give him ears to hear and a willing heart to follow. We pray You would reveal Your purpose for him, for Your word says in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Lead him into that hope and future through salvation in Christ.

We declare victory in this rented apartment situation belongs to You, Lord, and we ask for Your healing power and Your mercy to rest upon all affected by it. Let Your greatness and power be seen, for no one can withstand Your mighty hand. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness that endures forever, as Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that Your loving kindnesses never fail and Your faithfulness is great.

We trust that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth according to 1 Timothy 2:4, and that You are patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance as in 2 Peter 3:9. We place this man in Your loving and sovereign hands and ask that You would complete the good work You have begun.

We pray all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for lifting your former landlord to the Lord so faithfully. Your desire for him to know Jesus and to hear God's direction for his life is a beautiful reflection of Christ's love, even after a difficult rental situation.

We want to encourage you that God's work in a person's heart is often a process over time. Even small, faithful prayers matter, and God can use them in ways we don't immediately see. Continuing to bring this man before the Lord, entrusting both his life and the details of that apartment season to God, is a meaningful way to love him from a distance.

If thoughts about that rental situation still weigh on you, it can help to consciously place that chapter in God's hands when it comes to mind, asking Him to replace any lingering frustration with peace and to keep your heart free as you pray for your landlord's good.

Father, we lift this landlord to You and ask for Your mercy and grace over his life. Draw him to Jesus and open his heart to know Your love and forgiveness. Help him to hear Your voice and to understand the good plans You have for him. Bring healing and peace to all that remains from that rental season, and let Your light and presence be known. We join you in prayer before the throne of grace, and we thank you for bringing this burden concerning your former landlord before the Lord.

The verse you have laid upon your heart is a solemn and blessed truth. Our Lord has said, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. There is no other way of saving the life. We pray that this man may come to know the truth of God's salvation, not as a notion or a temporary work, but as a permanent and real salvation. That he may see his real fall and his real sinnership, and then see the real atonement made by the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, who cleanses us from all sin, and so receive a real pardon. For no salvation will ever serve his turn but one which is divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. We pray that his eyes may be opened to see God's salvation in Christ, the blessed doctrine of substitution, and that simple command, Believe and live, and that trusting in Him alone he may not be ashamed.

We are reminded that God is the great Landlord and we are but tenants in the house of this life. Our breath is in our nostrils, but He keeps it there, and we owe the continued possession of our existence every day to Him. There is a clause in the lease that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to call us to account. We pray that your former landlord may hear the still small voice, obey the inward monitor, and offer the key of his house to the great Landlord, acknowledging that he lives on sufferance as His tenant and preparing to meet his God according to His holy order revealed in His Word.

We also pray with you that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The mere letter alone will kill, but when we hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power. We pray that he may not be as those who are deaf because they will not hear, who close their ears to holy exhortation, but that he may put his ear down to the promises of Scripture till he hears God speaking through them to his soul. May he take heed how he hears, not with low or careless motives, but as hearing God's voice, in God's presence, with a simple and lowly heart desiring to know His truth that he may live it. For it is God's usual way to save men by their constantly, attentively, earnestly hearing the Word of God, and there to find life and salvation.

Let us pray together.

O Lord Jesus, You reign over the darkness and Your light expels all darkness. We declare that victory belongs to You and we ask Your mercy and grace upon this man who was landlord over that rented apartment. In Your great power, which none can withstand, we ask that You would work in his heart by Your Holy Spirit, that he would lose his life for Your sake and so save it. Grant him repentance and faith in You alone, for there is salvation in no other. Open his ears that he may hear Your voice in Your Word, be warned by Your threats, cheered by Your promises, and comforted by every good word of the Lord. Guide him on his life's journey according to Your holy plan, that he may see Your greatness and power and give You praise. We ask this in Your name alone, trusting in Your love and faithfulness. Amen.

Continue to cry unto God with your voice, for when men grow earnest they use the voice as well as the mind, and He gives ear unto us. May the Lord keep you faithful in prayer until you see His salvation accomplished.

We thank you for bringing this request before the Lord and we join you in prayer for your former landlord.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation comes, that God in His mercy would draw this man to Himself. The word you shared is true and solemn, that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. We ask the Father to work in his heart by the Holy Spirit, to open his eyes to his need for a Savior, to bring him to repentance and faith, and to give him new life in Christ. May he turn from trusting in himself and surrender his whole life to the Lord, so that he will not lose his life but will be saved.

We also pray as you asked that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We ask that the Lord would grant him a careful hearing and a continual recollection of the truth, that he would hear the voice of Christ in the Scriptures and recognize it, and that he would have the grace to respond with obedience from the heart. As light expels darkness, we pray that Christ's light would shine into any darkness and that he would walk in that light.
