Forgiveness

I need prayer to be a more understanding friend. I made up my mind to forgive a friend I got into an argument with but the devil keeps tempting me to become angry all over again. Her attitude provokes me but I pray that I will be able to overlook that and truly forgive her from the bottom of my heart and that she will be able to truly forgive me too. This has been bothering me so much and I've been spending my days with a heavy heart because of it. Please help me to forgive and forget.

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name open the doors that You God want open in my life. Open up the doors to the blessing of God. Open the door of salvation, joy, peace, prosperity, healing, excellent health, deliverance, obedience, spiritual growth, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, encouragement, education, employment, and protection. Open every door that needs to be open. Close every door that needs to be closed especially the doors of fear, anxiety, depression, disobedience, rebellion to Your Word.

God all that I have asked of You in prayer please do the same for all those I love, those I care about, and the writer of this prayer. Let the Word of God dwell with in each of us richly. Let Love, Faith, and Encouragement rule and reign in our homes. Lead, guide, and direct our footsteps. Let us all experience God’s best for our life. Bless each of us Lord Jesus with the desires of our heart this is the will of God for our life. Amen!

P.S - We all feel like this sometimes! It helps to remember what things may have happened to people to make them the way they are. It can be hard to have empathy but it is a very important social skill. Friendships are about give and take, though, so as long as you make it clear what you expect from the friendship, and ### does the same, you can meet each other halfway. Don't hold it all back to keep the peace - it helps no one =)

Father God, please remind the man of God how many times he has provoked you to wrath and the love you express continually towards him without any reminders of his provocation or attitude. Let him begin to act more like you for he is made in your image and likeness and he is your son, he carries the blood of Jesus in his veins and is forgiven of the Most High God, therefore, he has the ability to forgive unconditionally and will never bring up any infractions. In the name of Jesus, let him begin to walk in the newness of his creator- YOU!
