Forgiveness

This prayer is adapted from the Daily Marriage Prayer podcast. ​

Dear Lord,

We desire the courage to forgive and let go of the offenses that cause us pain. Lord, help us understand that our forgiveness should not be contingent on the other person confessing or changing their behavior first. Stir our hearts to freely forgive just as You have forgiven us.

In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
