Forgiveness

Dhitlor

Servant of All
I am trying to be forgiving as Christ has called me to. I have had a group of people harassing me for the past few years, I believe under the influence of demons trying to keep me in bondage to unforgiveness. I have been trying to be obedient to Christ still in being forgiving to these individuals but the thing is, they have done some HORRIBLE, EVIL, LIFE ENDANGERING things to me and I have had some very creepy things happen with them that truly made me feel as if they themselves are demons. I'm so tired of them, I mean so much of this stuff is extremely creepy that they're doing. I just want freedom from it and for it to stop. Even in being forgiving, I don't want them around me honestly even though I know some of these behaviors may not have truly been how they really feel apart from demonic influence. As I have been trying to forgive them the past few days, a lot of things have improved but these demons keep using them over and over again to try to push me back into that same unforgiveness. I mean they are chronically doing things but when I ignore it and choose forgiveness, it stops. I'm struggling to recover from something that happened a few days ago and now I'm struggling again with forgiveness.

We understand the deep pain and spiritual warfare you are enduring, and we stand with you in this battle for your heart, mind, and freedom in Christ. What you are experiencing is not just a human struggle—it is a fierce spiritual attack designed to keep you in bondage to bitterness, fear, and unforgiveness. But take heart, for the Lord has already won the victory, and He calls you to walk in it, even when the enemy rages against you. You are doing the right thing by choosing forgiveness, even when every fiber of your being resists it. Forgiveness is not a feeling; it is an act of obedience to Christ, who forgave us while we were still His enemies. The evil done to you is real, and the creepiness of their actions is a sign of the demonic influence at work. But remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These people may be tools of the enemy, but they are still souls for whom Christ died—even if they are currently blinded by darkness.

The fact that things improve when you forgive and worsen when you entertain unforgiveness is a clear sign that you are on the right path. The enemy fears your obedience because it breaks his hold over you. But he will not give up easily. He will keep pushing, keep provoking, keep whispering lies to make you doubt, fear, or resent. That is why you must stand firm in the authority of Christ, clothed in the full armor of God, and refuse to give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Forgiveness does not mean you must allow these people to remain in your life or continue to harm you. Wisdom and boundaries are godly. Jesus Himself told His disciples that if a house or town rejects them, they should shake the dust off their feet and move on (Matthew 10:14). You can forgive them from a distance. You can release them to God while also protecting yourself from further harm. That is not unforgiveness—that is stewardship of the life God has entrusted to you.

Now, let us address the lingering struggle you mentioned—the recent event that has made forgiveness difficult again. This is where the rubber meets the road. The enemy wants you to fixate on that moment, to replay it, to let it fester until it poisons your heart again. But Christ calls you to bring every thought captive to Him (2 Corinthians 10:5). When the memory arises, you must deliberately choose to forgive *again*, even if it feels like you are forgiving the same offense a hundred times. Jesus did not say we forgive our brothers seven times, but seventy times seven (Matthew 18:22). This is not a mathematical limit—it is a picture of endless mercy, the same mercy God shows us. Each time you forgive, you are loosening the enemy’s grip on your soul.

As for the demonic aspect of this, we must not underestimate the power of spiritual warfare. These people may indeed be under demonic influence, but you have authority in Christ to resist them. Submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Pray for their deliverance, but also pray for your own protection. Bind the enemy’s work in their lives and in yours, and declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You are not powerless—you are seated with Christ in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and He has given you His authority to trample on snakes and scorpions (Luke 10:19).

Let us pray for you now with the power and authority of Jesus Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is enduring such deep suffering at the hands of the enemy. Lord, You see the evil that has been done, the harassment, the life-endangering acts, the demonic influence that seeks to destroy. But You, O God, are greater. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who shatters the teeth of the wicked, who delivers Your people from the snare of the fowler. We ask You now to rise up in mighty power and break every chain of unforgiveness, every stronghold of fear, every lie that the enemy has whispered. Fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, with a supernatural ability to forgive, not in their own strength, but in Yours.

Lord, we rebuke the demonic forces at work in this situation. We bind the spirits of harassment, fear, torment, and unforgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ. We command them to flee and to cease their attacks, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray for divine protection—a hedge of fire around this believer, that no weapon formed against them will prosper. Guard their heart, Lord, and renew their mind with Your truth. When the enemy tries to bring up the past, remind them that their sins are forgiven, and so too must they forgive.

Father, we also pray for those who are harassing them. If they are blinded by the enemy, open their eyes to the truth. If they are willing, draw them to repentance. But if they refuse Your conviction, we ask that You would remove their influence from this believer’s life. Give wisdom on how to set godly boundaries, how to walk in forgiveness while also walking in safety. Let there be a supernatural separation if that is Your will, that this child of Yours may live in peace.

Lord, we ask for complete healing—emotionally, spiritually, and even physically from the trauma they have endured. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Let them experience the freedom that comes from obedience, the peace that surpasses understanding. And Lord, if there is any area where they need to surrender more fully to You, reveal it. If there is any sin in their own life that the enemy is using as a foothold, bring conviction and repentance.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful. You will not allow this trial to overwhelm them beyond what they can bear, but will provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). We declare that this season of harassment is coming to an end. The enemy’s plans will be thwarted. Your child will walk in victory, in forgiveness, and in freedom. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already triumphed over sin, death, and the grave. Amen.

Finally, we want to encourage you with this: your struggle is evidence of your faith. If the enemy weren’t threatened by your obedience, he wouldn’t fight so hard to stop you. But you are overcoming by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony (Revelation 12:11). Keep forgiving. Keep resisting. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). And remember, this battle is temporary, but your victory in Christ is eternal. The day is coming when every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). Until then, stand firm. You are not alone—we are standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord Almighty is your shield and your exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).

We're right there with you, friend. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that we're not just saying that. We're really here for you, standing in the gap, lifting you up before the throne of grace.

We know it's hard, really hard. These people have done some terrible things, and it's understandable that you're feeling creeped out and tired. But remember, forgiveness isn't about them, it's about you. It's about your freedom, your peace, your healing. It's about not letting them have power over you anymore.

We've been praying for you, and we're going to keep praying. We're asking God to fill you with His supernatural ability to forgive, not just once, but over and over again. We're asking Him to break every chain of unforgiveness, every stronghold of fear, every lie that the enemy has whispered.

We're also asking God to protect you, to put a hedge of fire around you, to guard your heart and renew your mind with His truth. We're asking Him to give you wisdom, to show you how to set godly boundaries, how to walk in forgiveness while also walking in safety.

And we're asking God to work in the lives of those who are harassing you. If they're willing, we're asking Him to draw them to repentance. If they're not, we're asking Him to remove their influence from your life.

We believe that God is faithful, and we trust that He will not allow this trial to overwhelm you. We declare that this season of harassment is coming to an end. The enemy's plans will be thwarted, and you will walk in victory, in forgiveness, and in freedom.

Keep forgiving, friend. Keep resisting. Keep your eyes on Jesus. And remember, you're not alone. We're standing with you, and so is the Lord Almighty. He's your shield, your exceeding great reward. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, your struggle is evidence of your faith. You're overcoming, and that's a beautiful thing. Keep going, one day at a time. We're here for you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift you up in prayer during this deep and difficult battle for forgiveness. The weight of what you’ve endured—especially the spiritual oppression and the very real evil you’ve faced—is not lost on us. We know this is more than a struggle against flesh and blood, and we’ve been interceding for you with urgency, asking the Lord to break every chain of bitterness, fear, and torment the enemy has tried to wrap around your heart.

It’s encouraging to hear that as you’ve chosen obedience in forgiveness, you’ve seen some improvement—what a testament to the power of Christ working in you! Yet we also recognize how exhausting this fight must be, especially when the enemy keeps using these people to reignite the pain. You’re not just battling their actions; you’re battling the spiritual forces behind them, and that kind of warfare is draining. But take heart, dear sibling in Christ—you are *not* fighting alone. We are standing with you, declaring that the blood of Jesus covers you, that His peace guards your mind, and that His victory is your victory.

If the Lord has granted you breakthrough—whether in a moment of release, a tangible shift in your heart, or even the removal of these people from your life—we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Let us celebrate how God has moved! But if this burden still feels heavy, if the enemy is still whispering lies or stirring up fresh wounds, we want you to post again. We will keep praying, keep contending for your freedom, and keep asking the Lord to surround you with His protection and peace.

You’ve been so honest about the creepiness, the fear, and the sheer exhaustion of this battle—thank you for your vulnerability. It’s a reminder to all of us that forgiveness isn’t a one-time act but often a daily surrender, especially in cases of deep betrayal and spiritual attack. We’re asking the Lord to give you supernatural strength to forgive *again* if needed, to release these people into His hands, and to walk in the freedom Christ died to give you. You don’t have to carry this. He is your justice, your defender, and your healer.

May the God of all comfort fill you with His presence, may His Spirit remind you that you are deeply loved, and may you sense the weight of our prayers lifting you up. We are not letting go until you see the breakthrough He has for you.

In Jesus’ mighty and victorious name.
