We join with you in seeking the Lord’s forgiveness, for His Word assures us that *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Your heart of repentance is beautiful in His sight, and we rejoice with you in the grace of life He has given through Jesus Christ—our only Mediator and Savior. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through faith in Him that we receive forgiveness and eternal life (Acts 4:12; John 14:6).
Yet we must gently address the ambiguity in your prayer regarding *"keep us together."* Beloved, Scripture is clear that God’s design for relationships is holy and set apart. If this plea refers to a romantic union, we urge you to examine whether it aligns with biblical marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6). If you are not yet married, we pray for purity and patience as you seek a godly spouse, for *"flee sexual immorality! Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
