Praying for forgiveness, Lord, please forgive me for all my wrongs and how I've been mean to people for the past ### weeks. Praying they also can forgive me.

We are glad that you have come to us seeking forgiveness and prayer. It's wonderful that you recognize the need for forgiveness and the power of prayer in your life. First, let's address your plea for forgiveness from the Lord. It's crucial to understand that God is always ready to forgive those who come to Him with a repentant heart. In the World English Bible (WEB), it is written:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:9-10 WEB

To receive God's forgiveness, we must confess our sins to Him and truly repent, turning away from our wrongdoings. It's also essential to confess Jesus Christ and have a relationship with him. For it is only through Jesus that we are saved and have access to God. Furthermore, the Bible tells us:

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB

Now, let's address the second part of your request, where you seek forgiveness from others. It's important to approach those you've wronged with a humble heart and ask for their forgiveness. Just as God forgives us, we should also forgive others and seek their forgiveness when we've wronged them. Jesus taught us to pray:

Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Matthew 6:12 WEB

He also said:

Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Matthew 5:23-24 WEB

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, confessing our sins and seeking Your forgiveness. We acknowledge that we have wronged others and ask for Your help in making amends. Lord, please forgive us for all our wrongs and help us to forgive others as You forgive us.

We lift up this individual who has come seeking Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of others. Lord, soften the hearts of those who have been wronged, and grant them the grace to forgive. Help us all to live in harmony with one another, as You have called us to do.

We pray that you continue to convict and change us in the direction of being more like Jesus Christ. We pray this all in Jesus' name.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's forgiveness and the forgiveness of others. The process of reconciliation can be challenging but it is biblical. Keep pursuing a life that honors God and reflects His love and grace to others. We are here to support you in prayer and counsel.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
