Disciple of Prayer
Son of David Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I come before you this morning, humble myself as I confess my sins to you, Lord Jesus Christ. I have done so many sins, have backslid in prayers, have slept with men because of body desires. I was approached by a married man for a relationship, thinking he was a godly sent to me since I had no one. I have been in that relationship, but my experience with the man is not good, and I loved him. He doesn't want to support me whenever I ask for help; he mocks me, laughs at me, and asks why I am dating him. At times, he comes asking for forgiveness, wants us together, but he's manipulative and a narcissist. He once got me pregnant and put pressure on me to terminate the pregnancy and again back to me. I had to love him; I thought he would marry me. No, he's disrespectful to me, wronged people knowingly and unknowingly. Lord, I have confessed to you my sins. Please find a way to forgive and forgive those who wronged me too. Wash my sins away, cleanse me with your holy blood, and restore everything that Satan has stolen from me, causing me anxiety, stress, depression. If that man is mine, God, I pray keep him; if not, delete him from my heart and mind. Give me my loving, caring one who will pray together with me, seeking your kingdom together. My heart's desire, I pray, prepare me to be a better woman and a bridegroom in waiting. I promise to love my husband, to care for him, to be faithful, to be submissive to him. I am here waiting patiently in prayers and in your holy name. Father, stretch your hand of blessing upon me and my children, open doors of school fees. I have a fee balance of ###. And my hand has nothing, this is bringing me worry and stress. I have cried to you all night to intervene. I believe in you; you can change my situation within a second to a better one through the power of the Holy Spirit. May you provide our daily need, give me grace at work in my office, need customers. And let your peace dwell in my life forever and ever in Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

We hear your cry, dear sister, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burdens to the Lord who is faithful to forgive and restore. Your honesty in confessing your sins is the first step toward healing, and we rejoice that the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). The Lord does not remember your sins once you have repented, for He says, “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins” (Isaiah 43:25). You are washed clean, made new, and deeply loved by the Father.

We must address the sin that has entangled you, not to condemn, but to set you free. Fornication—sexual relations outside of marriage—is a grievous sin in the eyes of God, as He designed intimacy to be a sacred covenant between a husband and wife (Hebrews 13:4). Your involvement with a married man is not only fornication but also adultery, as he belongs to another. This man was never sent by God, for the Lord does not lead His children into sin or deception. The enemy has used this relationship to steal your peace, your dignity, and your hope, but Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We rebuke the spirit of lust, manipulation, and emotional bondage that has kept you bound, and we command it to leave you now in the mighty name of Jesus. You are not defined by this sin; you are defined by the blood of Christ that covers you.

The pain you have endured—being mocked, manipulated, and pressured to abort your child—is not from God. The Lord hates the shedding of innocent blood (Proverbs 6:16-17), and we grieve with you over the loss of your child. We pray for healing over that wound in your heart, knowing that God collects every tear and holds you close in your sorrow (Psalm 56:8). The man you have been entangled with is not your husband, nor will he ever be. He is a stumbling block, not a helper sent by God. We declare that he is removed from your life, your heart, and your mind. The Lord says, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14). This man does not share your faith, your values, or your commitment to Christ. He is not your destiny helper; he is a distraction from the godly spouse the Lord has prepared for you.

We praise God that you desire a husband who will pray with you, seek the kingdom with you, and love you as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). This is a holy desire, and we pray that the Lord would prepare you to be a wife of noble character, as described in Proverbs 31. You are not just waiting for a man; you are being refined into the woman God created you to be. Submit this desire to the Lord, trusting that He knows the plans He has for you—plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We declare that your heart is being healed from past wounds, and your mind is being renewed by the Word of God. You will no longer settle for less than God’s best, for you are a daughter of the King, and He delights in giving you good gifts (Matthew 7:11).

Your financial struggles, particularly the burden of school fees, weigh heavily on your heart, and we bring this need before the Lord. He is Jehovah Jireh, your Provider, and He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8). We pray that the Lord would open doors of provision for you, whether through your work, unexpected blessings, or the generosity of others. Trust in Him, for He has promised, “My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke the spirit of lack and anxiety, declaring that you will not be overwhelmed by your circumstances. The Lord is your Shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). We pray for favor in your workplace, that customers would come to you, and that your hands would be blessed in all you do.

Above all, we pray for your peace. The Lord says, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful” (John 14:27). You have carried so much—shame, regret, financial stress, and emotional pain—but Jesus invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our sister, who has laid her burdens at Your feet. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning. We thank You that You are faithful to forgive her sins and cleanse her from all unrighteousness. We declare that she is washed by the blood of Jesus, made white as snow, and set free from every chain of sin and shame.

Father, we ask that You break every soul tie between her and the man who has caused her pain. Remove his influence from her heart, mind, and emotions. Heal the wounds of manipulation, rejection, and loss. Restore to her what the enemy has stolen—her peace, her joy, her hope, and her dignity. We declare that she is no longer a victim but a victor in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for her financial needs, especially the school fees that weigh heavily on her heart. Open doors of provision, Father. Let Your favor rest upon her at work, and bring customers and opportunities her way. You are her Provider, and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

Prepare her, Lord, to be the godly wife You have called her to be. Refine her character, strengthen her faith, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Bring into her life a man after Your own heart, one who will love her as Christ loves the church, lead her in righteousness, and pray with her as they seek Your kingdom together. Let her patience be rewarded, and let her trust in Your timing.

Father, we ask that You fill her with Your peace. Let Your presence be her comfort, Your Word her guide, and Your promises her anchor. We rebuke every spirit of anxiety, depression, and fear, declaring that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, and we give You all the glory. Amen.
