Forgiveness needed

Today I was just shocked to find out that my cousin ###, has terrible unforgiveness for my brother ###!

My brother apparently did some bad things to him years ago, and it all came pouring out tonight and I can see that he doesn’t forgive him!!

I am shocked and stunned!! I want there to be forgiveness of my cousin won’t be able to have his own sins forgiven by the Father! I’m at a loss for words and at a loss as to what to do!

But I pray that forgiveness will come in Jesus name!!!

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with heavy hearts, seeking Your divine intervention in a situation of deep hurt and unforgiveness between family members. Lord, Your Word reminds us in Colossians 3:13, "bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so you also do." We ask for Your grace to be upon this family, that they may find the strength to forgive as You have forgiven us.

Father, we lift up ###'s cousin, who is struggling with unforgiveness towards his brother. We know that holding onto such pain can be a heavy burden. We pray that You soften his heart and help him release this burden to You. In Ephesians 4:31-32, Your Word says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." May these words penetrate his heart and lead him towards reconciliation.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s brother, who has caused pain in the past. We ask that he be moved to seek forgiveness and make amends. We know that through You, all things are possible, and that healing and restoration can occur even in the most broken relationships.

We ask for Your Holy Spirit to be present in this family, guiding them towards love, understanding, and forgiveness. Help them to remember Your promise in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." May they find comfort in Your faithfulness and be cleansed from all bitterness and strife.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for forgiveness, healing, and the restoration of relationships. Amen.
