Forgiveness, breaking curses and blessings for ###

Jesus, break all curses over my daughter and myself! Let me not be one who curses, Jesus - free me from bitterness and fear and anger. Release me and my daughter from all that is not of you, Jesus. Jesus, forgive me and my daughter for all trespasses, those we know of and those we are not aware of. Jesus, let no weapon form against us! Jesus, bless us so we are safe, loved, cared for both in thought and in action, that we, bless us with kindness and joy, with a life filled with You! Help me teach my daughter about You, Jesus, so she can be saved. In Jesus name amen

We join with you in lifting up your heart’s cry to the Lord, for we know that our God is faithful to forgive, to break every chain, and to pour out His blessings upon those who call upon His name in truth. It is beautiful to see you seeking Jesus with such urgency and surrender, acknowledging His authority over every curse, every sin, and every stronghold in your life and the life of your daughter. You have come to the right place, for there is no name under heaven by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ, and it is through Him alone that we find freedom, forgiveness, and the power to walk in victory.

The Word of God assures us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* You have done well to bring your sins and the sins of your daughter before the Lord, for He is merciful and just to forgive. The blood of Jesus is more than enough to wash away every transgression—those we are aware of and those we are not. Let this truth sink deep into your heart: you are forgiven, and your daughter is covered by the same grace when she turns to Him in repentance. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), so receive His peace and let go of any shame or guilt the enemy may try to place upon you.

You have also rightly recognized the danger of curses—whether spoken by others or even by our own tongues in moments of bitterness, fear, or anger. The Scripture warns us in Proverbs 18:21, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* And in James 3:10, we are reminded, *"Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so."* If there has been a pattern of harmful words, generational sins, or even agreements with the enemy through fear or unbelief, we declare with you that these are broken now in the name of Jesus. Galatians 3:13 proclaims, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us."* Every curse—whether from your lineage, from your own lips, or from the enemy—is powerless against the finished work of the cross. We stand with you in the authority of Christ and command every curse to be broken, every stronghold to be demolished, and every lie of the enemy to be exposed and silenced. You and your daughter are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Yet we must also address the root of these curses, which often spring from unresolved bitterness, fear, and anger. The Lord does not want you to merely be free from the *effects* of these things—He wants to free you from the *presence* of them in your heart. Ephesians 4:31-32 instructs us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* If there are people you need to forgive—perhaps even your daughter, or those who have hurt her—we urge you to release them to the Lord. Unforgiveness is a poison that harms us far more than it harms the one who wronged us. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of unforgiveness in your heart, and choose to forgive as Christ forgave you. This is not optional for the believer; it is a commandment (Matthew 6:14-15). The freedom you seek is found on the other side of obedience.

As for your daughter, we praise God for your desire to teach her about Jesus so that she may be saved. This is the greatest gift you can give her—eternal life through faith in Christ. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 tells us, *"These words, which I command you today, shall be in your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."* Your role as her mother is sacred, and the Lord will equip you to speak His truth into her life. But remember, salvation is a work of the Holy Spirit, not of our own efforts. You can plant the seeds, water them with prayer and love, but it is God who brings the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6). Pray for her salvation daily, and trust that the Lord is drawing her to Himself (John 6:44). Live out your faith authentically before her, so she may see the hope and joy that comes from walking with Christ.

We also want to encourage you to cover your home in prayer and in the Word of God. Joshua 24:15 declares, *"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."* Make this your family’s declaration. Play worship music, speak Scripture over your daughter, and create an atmosphere where the presence of God is welcome. The enemy flees where the name of Jesus is lifted high. And as you seek to bless your daughter, remember that blessings flow most powerfully through obedience and alignment with God’s Word. Numbers 6:24-26 is a beautiful prayer of blessing you can speak over her daily: *"The Lord bless you, and keep you. The Lord make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up his face on you, and give you peace."*

Finally, we want to remind you that the Lord does not just want to *bless* you—He wants to *transform* you. His blessings are not merely for comfort or safety, though He does provide those things. His greatest blessing is that we would become more like Christ, conformed to His image (Romans 8:29). So as you ask for kindness, joy, and a life filled with Him, be open to the ways He may refine you through trials, teach you through His Word, and grow your faith through seasons of waiting. His ways are higher than ours, and His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

Now, let us pray together over you and your daughter:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her daughter. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who forgives, who breaks every chain, and who delights in setting the captives free. We confess any sins—known and unknown—on behalf of this mother and her daughter, and we ask that You would wash them clean by the blood of Jesus. Father, forgive them as You have promised, and remove their transgressions from them as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12).

We take authority in the name of Jesus over every curse, every generational stronghold, and every word spoken against them. Lord, You said in Your Word that Christ became a curse for us, so we declare that every curse is broken now. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We loose them from bitterness, fear, anger, and every ungodly soul tie. Fill them instead with Your love, Your peace, and Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Father, we ask that You would bless this mother and daughter abundantly. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). Protect them from harm, both seen and unseen. Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where no evil shall befall them (Psalm 91:1-10). Fill their home with Your presence, Lord. Let kindness, patience, and gentleness flow from them as they abide in You.

We pray specifically for this daughter’s salvation. Draw her to Yourself, Lord. Open her eyes to see the truth of the gospel, and soften her heart to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Give her mother wisdom and grace as she teaches her Your ways. Let this home be a place where Your name is honored, where Your Word is cherished, and where Your Spirit is welcome.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill this mother with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in victory and lead her daughter in the same. Clothe her with strength and dignity, and let her laugh at the days to come (Proverbs 31:25). May she and her daughter be a light in this world, pointing others to You.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. Let Your will be done in their lives, for Your glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, standing in faith for your daughter and you. We've been praying, and we want to encourage you with a promise from Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Trust that He is working even when you can't see it.

Let's declare together, "Every curse over my daughter and me, we break in Jesus' name. Every word spoken against us, we cancel now. We loose ourselves from bitterness, fear, and anger, and we receive love, joy, and peace in their place. We bless our enemies, and we choose to love them as Jesus loves us. We trust that God is working in our lives, and we thank Him for His unfailing love."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
