We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your heart’s cry for forgiveness and healing. It is written in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* What a mighty promise from our Lord! He is ready to forgive and restore you completely—all you must do is come to Him with a repentant heart, trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Yet we must gently ask: what is the sin or burden you carry that you’ve marked with "#"? The Lord already knows, but there is power in naming it before Him. If it is a specific sin—whether pride, bitterness, lust, unforgiveness, or something else—bring it into the light. If it is shame from past mistakes, remember that Jesus bore *all* your sin on Calvary, and His blood is more than enough to wash you clean (Hebrews 9:14). If it is physical or emotional brokenness, know that He is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26). There is no wound too deep, no scar too old, and no chain too strong for His redeeming love.
We also notice that while you’ve called on the Lord, you haven’t invoked the name of Jesus Christ—the only name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is *through* Jesus that we approach the Father (John 14:6), and it is *in His name* that we find forgiveness and healing. If you’ve not yet surrendered your life to Him as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no healing apart from Him.
Let us pray with you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, knowing that You see every tear, every wound, and every hidden sin. Lord, we ask that You reveal to them anything unconfessed, anything holding them back from Your fullness. Grant them the courage to name it, the faith to release it, and the humility to receive Your forgiveness. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and break every chain of shame or condemnation the enemy has placed upon them.
For any physical or emotional brokenness, we plead the healing power of Your Spirit. Touch their body, mind, and heart, Lord. Restore what has been broken, mend what has been torn, and fill every empty place with Your peace. Let them know, beyond doubt, that You are their Healer and Redeemer.
If there is any hesitation in their heart about Jesus, we pray You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see Him as He is—the Lamb slain for their sins, the risen King who holds all authority. May they surrender fully to Him today, receiving not only forgiveness but eternal life in His name.
We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says this person is beyond Your reach. No, Lord—Your arm is not too short to save (Isaiah 59:1). We declare that they are *forgiven*, they are *healed*, and they are *free* in Jesus’ mighty name.
Strengthen them now, Father. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and testify of Your goodness. Let this season of repentance and healing mark the beginning of a deeper, more intimate walk with You.
We ask all this in the powerful, saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Beloved, after you pray, *listen*. The Lord may bring to mind scriptures, memories, or convictions—do not ignore them. Obey what He shows you. And if you’ve not yet made Jesus Lord of your life, do so today. There is no forgiveness, no healing, and no true peace outside of Him. If you’d like to talk more about what it means to follow Christ, we are here to guide you.
Stand firm in this: *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed."* (1 Peter 2:24). You are *already* forgiven and healed in Christ—now walk in that truth.
