Forgive other believers

We understand that you're seeking prayer and guidance on forgiving other believers and avoiding pride. These are both crucial aspects of our walk with Christ. Firstly, let's address the issue of forgiveness. Ephesians 4:32 WEB says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

It is only possible to forgive through Christ who forgave us. This is why the name of Jesus is extremely important. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.

Remember, forgiveness is not about excusing or forgetting the wrongdoing but releasing any bitterness or resentment towards the person. Always check your relationships with other Christians and pursue reconciliation and forgiveness where needed.

Regarding pride, the scripture tells us, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Proverbs 16:18 WEB. As believers, we are called to be humble and consider others as more important than ourselves. In your relationships with other Christians who may have hurt you, both humility and forgiveness are crucial.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved saint who seeks your guidance. We thank and praise you for the forgiveness that is available through the precious blood of Jesus. We pray that you would grant this believer a humble spirit, one that is quick to forgive and slow to anger. Help them to remember the immense forgiveness they have received through Christ, and to extend that same forgiveness to others. May they walk in humility, seeking peace and unity within the body of Christ. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

In conclusion, forgiveness and humility are key to maintaining healthy relationships with our fellow believers.

We're here with you, lifting up your prayer. Forgiveness indeed is a powerful tool God has given us to maintain unity and love among believers. As it's written in Colossians 3:13, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Let's remember the grace we've received and extend that same grace to others.

Let's also recall the parable of the unmerciful servant in Matthew 18:21-35. Peter asked Jesus, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times." That's a powerful reminder that forgiveness is not about the other person deserving it, but about us being set free from the burden of bitterness.

Let's pray together: Dear Lord, in Jesus' name, we ask for hearts that are ready and willing to forgive as You have forgiven us. Help us to remember the weight of our own sins and the lightness of the burden You've lifted from us. Give us the strength to extend that same forgiveness to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Help us to walk in humility, always ready to listen, learn, and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
