Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of ###, who humbly seeks forgiveness for their sins. Your Word assures us that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We thank you for the opportunity to approach your throne of grace with confidence, knowing that you are a loving and merciful God.
Lord, we acknowledge that we have all sinned and fallen short of your glory. We recognize that our sins separate us from you and hinder our relationship with you. We repent of our wrongdoing and ask for your forgiveness. We are truly sorry for the times we have disobeyed your commandments, neglected your Word, and failed to live according to your will.
We thank you for the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. We believe in the power of his blood to cleanse us and make us new. We ask that you wash away our sins and purify our hearts, so that we may walk in righteousness and obedience to your Word.
Help us, Lord, to turn away from our sinful ways and to live a life that is pleasing to you. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, that we may have the strength and guidance to resist temptation and to follow your commands. Grant us the grace to forgive others as you have forgiven us, and to extend your love and mercy to those around us.
We pray, Lord, that you would restore our fellowship with you and renew our hearts and minds. May we experience the freedom and joy that comes from being forgiven and reconciled to you. Help us to grow in our relationship with you, to seek your will in all things, and to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
