Foreclosure hearing tomorrow ### at ###

The clamor of your heart is for a sign, for a sudden overturning of earthly courts. You seek a miracle that spares the roof over your children’s heads, and this is a fear that cuts deep. But consider this: what manner of miracle did Job work in sight of the devil, that the adversary was amazed? No miracle indeed, but a life that shone and displayed an endurance firmer than any adamant. The wondering after signs often belongs to a mind that is yet a child, gaping after trifles, but of things very great it has not so much admiration. The greater miracle is not that the house stands, but that the soul stands unshaken when all earthly doors have closed. For can you put the tongue of an evangelist in bonds? Thereby it runs the more. So too, if your hope is bound to a mere building, you have not yet seen how chiefly the Preaching runs when outward things fail.

You stand on many scriptures, yet even the mother of our Lord was quietly rebuked when she sought a miracle from a motive that was not of the hour. “Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come.” The request, you see, ought to come from a place of deeper need, for what is done at the request of one’s temporal fears often causes offense to the spectators of your faith; but when they make the request who have the ultimate need of the soul, the miracle is free from suspicion. Know you not that the miracles, except we be sober, do even harm in many cases? Many were severed from one another, many were carried away with pride. The care of practice and love of virtue so far from generating a mere desire for a sign, does even take it away when it exists.

Therefore, I would have you become both a child and a man: a child in malice and in the anxious cunning that worsens your fear, but a man in mind, for in this way you may become a true man if you be also a child in trusting simplicity. The barren woman became the mother of a numerous progeny not by the miracle she grasped at, but by the promise she was given. That was a type of the Church, whose borders filled the whole world. The habitation of the soul is the Household of faith, and your children’s truest home is not built of wood and stone, which any servant of the law can take, but of the certainty that God’s power is shown most where earthly help is most dead. Look now for the miracle of a delivered and steadfast spirit; that is the open Heaven, and no dead end can close against it.

The weight you are carrying is heavy, and your heart is right to cry out for a sudden miracle from Heaven. Fear rises when every earthly door swings shut, but those dead ends are not dead ends to God. They are simply the place where only He can move, and He moves in response to faith, not frantic effort. You are not begging a reluctant Judge; you are calling on a Father who loves your children even more than you do. The Scriptures you are standing on are not empty words. Psalm 27 declares that the Lord is your light and salvation, so you need not fear. Amos 9:13 speaks of a time when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman, a picture of blessing so swift and abundant that one harvest rushes into the next. What you need is not a scheduled event or a special atmosphere. As soon as the seed of God’s promise is planted by faith, the life inside it begins to work, often unseen, until the fruit breaks through the surface.

Your home is not just a building. For your children, it is the only place of safety they have known. The enemy loves to attack the family, to steal stability from the innocent, but God is the protector of the innocent. All through Scripture, He rises up to defend the vulnerable when their cry reaches His ears. When Pharaoh’s army closed in and the sea stood before the children of Israel, they were terrified, but the command was simply to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. You have a hearing tomorrow. That hearing is not outside His control. He can overturn every plan set against you. He can supply a supernatural deposit, favor beyond favor, just as He multiplied loaves and fish until the multitude was satisfied, with baskets left over. Do not fix your eyes on the size of the need. Fix your eyes on the One who can meet it with a word.

Your faith is not an abstract idea. It is the very channel through which the promises given to Abraham flow to you. You are a daughter of the promise, not by physical descent but by trusting in the God who raises the dead and calls those things that are not as though they were. The blessing of Abraham belongs to you through Christ, and that blessing includes a multiplication of provision and an overturning of the enemy’s plots. God is not limited by the paperwork or the deadlines. When Jesus fed the 5,000, He did not wait for the crowd to earn a miracle. He saw the need, He gave thanks, and He distributed until all were filled. Your part is to give thanks now, even before you see the answer, and to hold onto the simplicity of childlike trust. Jesus always had time for children when others saw them as insignificant. Bring your children into this fight in the spirit. Let them pray with you. Their faith is powerful precisely because it is uncluttered by adult doubts.

Think of the stones the Israelites set up at the Jordan. They were meant to be a memorial so that when future children asked, “What do these stones mean?” the story of God’s deliverance would be told again. Your home is about to become one of those memorials. You will tell your children how God answered when all human help failed. You will recount the hearing, the moment the enemy thought he had won, and the sudden reversal that made your deliverance unmistakable. The very thing that now terrifies you will become a marker of His faithfulness. Even if the first signs look partial, do not despise the day of small things. A gradual healing was still a healing. The word of God works like a seed underground. You may not see the full fruit by tomorrow morning, but the growth has already begun because the seed was sown the moment you cried out.

God’s heart for your home is tender. When His people cried out under the oppression of armies with iron chariots, He raised up deliverers. He is not content to let the forces of destruction swallow the inheritance He has given you. Stand in that truth. Do not let fear speak louder than the promises you have been standing on. Walk into that hearing with the quiet confidence that your Father owns everything and that He will not let His innocent children be put to shame. Justice and mercy belong to Him, not to any human system. When He shows out, every mouth will be stopped, and the result will be a testimony your children will carry for the rest of their lives. I am praying with you for a sudden, overturning, supernatural miracle. Keep your eyes lifted. Your Redeemer is strong, and He is bringing you out with a mighty hand.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you during such a critical time. Your faith and persistence in seeking God’s intervention for your home and your children have been deeply moving to witness. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord, praying over the scriptures you claimed—Psalm 27 and Amos 9:13—for that sudden miracle, divine overturn, and favor beyond favor to manifest in your situation.

Now that some time has passed since your hearing, we want to encourage you with hope. If God has already moved in a powerful way—if doors have swung open, if favor has poured out, or if a miracle has unfolded—please share a praise report so we can rejoice with you! Your testimony will strengthen others who are waiting on God’s deliverance.

If the outcome hasn’t yet become clear, or if you’re still facing uncertainty, we invite you to post your request again as a new prayer need. We are committed to standing with you, interceding for your home, your children, and every area of your life until you see the breakthrough you’re believing for. You are not alone in this fight, and we refuse to let go of God’s promises on your behalf.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, open doors no man can shut, and release supernatural provision in ways that leave no doubt it was Him. We pray for divine deposits of favor, unexpected solutions, and a heavenly intervention that only God can orchestrate. Keep standing on His Word, keep declaring His promises, and keep trusting in His faithfulness. We believe with you for a miracle that defies every natural circumstance.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
