We join you in lifting up these requests together before our Father in Jesus' name and we rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
We praise God for your heart for your marriage and your family and for this marriage event today. We believe marriage is a holy covenant before God between a man and a woman for life, and it reflects Christ and His church. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25, and Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself and let the wife see that she respects her husband Ephesians 5:33. We pray that God will strengthen your marriage and deepen your wife's and your love for one another with a love that is patient and kind and enduring, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, and that above all you will be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins 1 Peter 4:8.
We also lift up our brother who is preaching at the marriage event today. We pray that God will anoint his words and give him boldness and clarity to preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching 2 Timothy 4:2. May the Holy Spirit use him to build up marriages that honor God and to proclaim the truth of God's design for marriage with grace and power, and may every couple who hears be encouraged to love and cherish one another and to keep their covenant vows.
We pray for your children as well. Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3. We ask the Lord to give them a blessed and joyful day, to guard their hearts and keep them in His peace, and to help them at their karate tournament. We pray they will do all things heartily as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23 and know that I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me Philippians 4:13. Whether they win or lose, may they show good sportsmanship, discipline and respect, and may this be part of training them up in the way they should go Proverbs 22:6.
Father, we thank You for this husband and father who seeks You for his family. We ask You to bless his marriage abundantly, to renew and deepen the love between him and his wife, to draw them closer to each other and to You, and to make their home a testimony of Your faithfulness. Bless his children today, keep them safe, give them focus and strength and joy in their tournament, and let them feel Your presence with them. Anoint our brother as he preaches today, fill his mouth with Your wisdom, and let Your word bear lasting fruit in every marriage represented. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. We have carried your requests to the throne of grace and do join our hearts with yours in prayer to our faithful God.
We pray that the Lord will anoint and help your brother as he preaches at the marriage event today, that he may speak with clarity and power from the Word, and that the testimony of Christ may bring glory to God and blessing to all who hear. May he be a blessing in the pulpit, filled with the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We pray also for your marriage, that the Lord who first loved us would pour His love into your home. As you have been blessed in Christ with every spiritual blessing, so may you and your wife know more of that love which passes knowledge, and may it be reflected in your love for one another. We ask that God would strengthen the covenant of your marriage, that you may love your wife even as Christ loved the church, and that her love for you may abound more and more, rooted in the love of God which never fails. May prudence and wisdom be mixed with that love, and may your home be preserved by His presence.
For your children we ask the Lord's keeping and blessing this day. May He grant them joy, safety and a blessed day, and help them at their karate tournament to do their best with a good conscience, with courage and kindness and self control. We pray that they may walk in the truth and that your household may be filled with the grace of our Lord Jesus, so that the servants and children and all within find the house to be a home where Christ is honored. Tell them of the great love of God in Christ, and pray that they may come to know Him who first loved us.
Nothing touches the Lord like the cries of His children, and He has pledged Himself never to forsake His own. May you prove His faithfulness today in every need, and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and your whole household, in Jesus name, Amen.

We thank God for your desire to bring these things before Him and we join you in prayer for each request you have shared.
We pray for the one who preaches at the marriage event today, that God would give him clarity, boldness and grace to speak the truth in love, and that his words would honor Christ and strengthen those who hear. Marriage is honorable and pure before God, and it preserves the holiness that comes through faith when husband and wife live faithfully with one another in chaste and orderly love. May the Lord use this preaching to point all who are present to that design.
We pray for your own marriage, that God would bless it and keep it according to His good purpose as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. We ask that He would deepen love between you and your wife, and that this love would grow not only from natural affection but as service to Christ Himself. When we love as unto the Lord and keep the fear of God before our eyes and seek excellence of soul above all else, then the home is established in peace and gentleness. May God guard your marriage from suspicion and strife and knit your hearts together in fervent and faithful love.

Marriage is God's design from the beginning, where a man leaves his father and mother and cleaves to his wife and the two become one flesh, and what God has joined together no one should separate. Pray that he will faithfully point to that original purpose and to the picture of Christ and His church, and that those who hear will be encouraged to walk as children of light and to walk in love.
We also lift up your marriage and ask God to bless it richly. God's desire is to bless His children, and His blessing comes as we trust Him through faith in Jesus Christ. He has called us to peace, not to warfare in the home. For a marriage to truly flourish it takes both husband and wife walking in obedience to what God has shown. The husband is called to love his wife as Christ loved the church and as his own body, to cherish her, to make her secure in his love, to tell her often that he loves her and that she is his for life. When a man loves his wife in that way he is also doing good for himself, and a wife who is covered with that kind of love will blossom. The wife is called to love her husband and to show that love with respect and faithfulness, and both are called to give themselves to one another with kindness and not to withhold from each other. Keep expressing that love daily in words and actions, and ask the Lord to strengthen you to walk in that love consistently. As you do, your home can become the closest thing to heaven on earth.
