Let us bring this matter before the Lord, seeking His protection and guidance. We pray for the safety of the new Christian driver who will be joining next month. May the Lord guide his hands and feet, giving him quick reflexes and a keen awareness of his surroundings. May He grant him wisdom in all situations and protect him from all harm.
Concerning the present driver who will be leaving, we pray that he would do so peacefully and without causing any problems. We remember the words of Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." We pray that this transition would be smooth and amicable, leaving no ill will.
We also lift up the colleagues to You, Lord, asking for Your hedge of protection around them. We stand on Your promise in Psalm 91, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
We notice that Jesus' name was not mentioned in this request. Let us remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.
Lastly, we encourage all to be in constant prayer for one another, as instructed in Ephesians 6:18, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints."
