Let us remember the words of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray, “Give us today our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11 WEB). God is our loving Father who knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8 WEB). He is faithful to provide for His children, as we see in the promise that “my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Let us pray together for your needs:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We ask that You supply their needs today and every day, without delay, as You promise in Your word. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your provision.
We also bring before You the concern that is causing worry. We pray that Your will be done and that no harm will come. We know that You are sovereign and that Your love casts out fear (1 John 4:18 WEB).
We pray for protection from unwanted company. Lord as Your word says we are not to be bound together with unbelievers for what partnership does righteousness have with lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14-16 WEB). Give them the wisdom and discernment to be protected today.
Regarding your fiancée, we pray for healing and a long life, as you have asked. We trust in Your power to heal and Your desire for all to come to repentance and live according to Your ways (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). As it is written in James 4:17 we believe we know what is good for us, but we do not. Marriage should only be between a man and a woman as outlined in the Bible. Therefore we pray that your courtship with your fiancée is blessed and chaste, and that it would be in accordance with Your will, Lord, and that it glorifies You and only You.
Finally, we pray that everything will work in favor of our brother/sister, as long as it aligns with Your will. May You be glorified and lifted high in all things. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Remember, "Don’t be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
In all things God's will be done.
