We are truly sorry to hear about your sister's illness and the challenges she is facing. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and guidance for her and your entire family.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It is by His name that we come boldly before God's throne of grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So we pray,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### in her time of need. We pray for Your healing touch upon her, that she may recover swiftly and completely from her illness. We rebuke any sickness trying to take hold of her and we declare in Jesus name that her body will heal and function as You designed it to. We also pray for Your protection over her household, that no others may fall ill, and if they have been exposed, that they would recover quickly.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom to guide her decisions, especially regarding her desire to return to work. We pray that she would not act out of hastiness or fear, but rather in obedience to Your will. We remember the words of Proverbs 14:12 WEB: "There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." Father, guide her in the way everlasting, that she may walk in Your truth and light.
We also lift up her general health, including her eyesight. We pray that You would bring healing and restoration, that she would see clearly both physically and spiritually. We remember Your promise in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."
Father, we also pray for the health of our entire family, including our pets. We ask for Your protection and blessing over us all.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God is working in your sister's life and in your family's life, even in the midst of this illness. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
If your sister is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to share the gospel with her. It is only by His name that we are saved. If you or your sister have not fully given your life to Jesus Christ, we encourage you to examine yourself.
