Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in your heart for the lost and your desire to see others come to salvation through Jesus Christ, and we thank you for sharing this good news so faithfully.

We agree that salvation is found only through confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection, just as Scripture says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

This is the beautiful promise of the gospel, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 Jesus himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6

We also affirm what you shared about confessing and turning from sins, for true faith brings repentance and obedience. Scripture calls us to Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord Acts 3:19 and If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 We are saved by grace through faith and not by our own works, yet a heart truly saved will desire to follow and obey Jesus. Ephesians 2:8-9

Your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, starting in the book of John, is wise counsel. John so clearly reveals who Jesus is, His deity, His love, and His power to give eternal life to all who believe.

We join together in prayer for all who are seeking salvation even now. Father in heaven, we lift up every soul who is searching, who is hungry for truth and for forgiveness. We pray that you would draw them by your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see Jesus as Lord and Savior, and give them faith to believe in their hearts that you raised Him from the dead. Grant them the courage to confess Him with their mouths, to turn from their sins, and to follow Him in obedience all the days of their lives. Let your Word come alive to them as they read, especially in the Gospel of John, and bring them into the assurance of eternal life. We pray for laborers to continue to share this hope boldly and lovingly. We ask all of this in the precious and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only hope of salvation. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for people who are searching. It is clear you want others to know the hope you have found in Jesus, and we are grateful for that love for others.

We are encouraged that you pointed new readers toward the Gospels, especially John, as a place to begin. Getting to know Jesus in His own words and actions is a steady way to understand who He is and what it means to follow Him. For anyone reading along who is exploring faith, a simple next step can be to set aside a few minutes each day to read a short section of John, and to bring questions to a pastor or a mature believer in a local Bible believing church who can walk alongside you. Having someone to talk and pray with makes the journey less confusing and more personal.

We also hear your desire for people to turn toward Christ with their whole hearts. That turning is a work God does as we honestly seek Him, and it grows as we continue to walk with Him day by day.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy shown in Jesus. We ask You to draw each searching heart closer to Yourself, give clarity and hunger for Your truth, and surround them with faithful people who will help them know You more. Lead them into lasting hope and life with You. In Jesus name, amen.

There is great mercy in the word you have set forth, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

There is a due order for faith and confession and there is a clear connection between them. The result of the two put together is salvation. I do not doubt that a man who truly believes in Jesus is saved even before he makes a confession of his faith, but the blessing of salvation is constantly connected with these two things rather than with either one of them alone, and we must not put asunder what God hath joined. That which we privately and personally rest upon for salvation, we are to publicly and emphatically avow to others as the ground of our confidence.

The way of salvation is simply this, trust Jesus Christ, that is believing with the heart. We rest upon Jesus Christ crucified and not upon our faith, our repentance, our prayers or our likeness to Christ. Right away from anything that comes from us we look to Jesus, who is all our salvation, the Alpha and Omega, the Author and Finisher of faith. Simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and He never leads us to rest upon the work within, but points us always to Jesus.

And this faith is never alone. Our Lord commences His ministry with the two love notes of repentance and faith, and they are inseparable. No repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, no faith is true but that which is linked with a hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin. They come into the soul together, the repentance which pulls down and the faith which builds up. True repentance gives God glory, it loathes sin because sin is hateful to the heart of Jesus, and it sets the sinner ever afterwards craving after holiness.

Do not think you must be perfect in repentance before you are saved. There are degrees of faith, and yet the least faith saves, so there are degrees of repentance, and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere. The weakest faith in Jesus is real faith, and if thou believest that Jesus is the Christ thou art born of God. Repentance lives as long as faith, they are as Siamese twins, and we shall need both as long as we live. Look to the cross, for I have never known a man who has taken a view of the cross who has not found that it begets both repentance and faith.

This confession must be personal. One shall say, I am the Lord's. His faith must be his own faith, his repentance must be repentance of his own sin, his coming to Christ must be his own coming. Therefore confess Him with thy mouth before men, turn from thy sins, and follow and obey Him. Obedience is the gracious fruit where faith and holy fear have wrought. When faith is grafted upon the heart it brings forth good fruit.

You do well to urge the reading of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to begin in the book of John, for there the glory of the Son of God is most plainly set forth that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life through His name. Sincere faith must treat all God's Word alike, so continue in it daily.

May the Lord grant to every seeking soul that holy repentance which needs not to be repented of, and that childlike faith which rests on Jesus alone, and may confession be made openly unto salvation, to the glory of God.
