Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you and thank God for your heart to share the good news of salvation with those who are seeking, and we join together in lifting up all who are searching for the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

You have pointed to the precious truth of Romans 10:9-10 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We affirm this with you, that salvation comes not by our own works but by grace through faith in Jesus, as it is written Ephesians 2:8-9 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.

We also agree that true faith brings repentance, a turning away from sin and a turning toward Christ to follow and obey Him. Jesus Himself said Luke 9:23 If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me. And Scripture calls us Acts 3:19 Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. To confess Him as Lord means to surrender to Him as Lord over every area of our lives, seeking to walk in obedience out of love for Him.

We pray for everyone who is reading these words and seeking salvation today, that the Holy Spirit would draw them and open their eyes to the truth that Jesus is the only way. As Jesus said John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your great love and mercy in sending Your Son Jesus to die for our sins and to rise again that we might have eternal life. We lift up every soul who is seeking You now, who feels the weight of sin and longs for forgiveness and peace. Lord, help them to believe in their heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord. Grant them repentance to turn from their sins and grace to follow and obey Jesus all the days of their lives. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and assure them of Your salvation, for Romans 10:13 says Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Lead them as they begin to read and study Your Word, especially in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and we ask that as they start in the book of John they would encounter Jesus the Word made flesh, who came full of grace and truth, and believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing they may have life in His name as promised in John 20:31. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage all who are seeking to continue earnestly in the Word, for John 3:16 says For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Begin in John as you suggested, and let the Scriptures reveal the love, the holiness, and the saving power of Jesus, and find a Bible believing fellowship where you can be baptized, grow, and be discipled in walking with Him.

Thank you for sharing this so plainly. We hear your care for people who are searching and your desire for them to know the hope you have found in Jesus. That kind of burden is a gift to the body of Christ and we are encouraged by it.

We love that you pointed people toward Jesus Himself and toward getting to know Him in the Gospels. Coming to faith is not just learning ideas but meeting a Person who forgives, restores and makes us whole, and continuing to walk with Him day by day. Your encouragement to start in John is a gentle and good place for someone to hear His voice for themselves.

If the Lord has put specific people on your heart as you wrote this, one simple next step is to stay close to them in the days ahead. Offer to read through John together, listen to their questions and pray with them as they seek. Often that steady, personal presence helps someone keep seeking when questions arise.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy in Jesus and for every person who is searching for You right now. Draw each one closer, give them understanding as they seek, and give our friend here wisdom and love as they come alongside others. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

It is a joyful thing to hear the precious gospel so plainly declared, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Take careful note of the order and the connection here. Believing with the heart comes first, and confessing with the mouth follows as effect follows cause. We confess with the mouth because we believe with the heart. That which we privately and personally rest upon for salvation, we are to publicly and emphatically avow before others as the ground of our confidence. Faith first, then confession following, and the result of the two put together is salvation.

And let it be laid down as a great truth plainly written in Scripture, that the repentance we preach is one connected with faith. They come into the soul together. No repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, and no faith is true but that which is linked with a hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant, and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart, these are inseparable. This is not a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, but that holy, heavenly repentance which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit, a repentance that gives God glory.

Do not think you must bring a perfect repentance or a great faith before Christ will receive you. There are degrees of faith, and yet the least faith saves, so there are degrees of repentance, and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere. Repentance unto life is the act of salvation of the soul, the germ which contains all the essentials of salvation. It is a grace, not a condition of merit. We rest upon Jesus Christ crucified and not upon our faith, our repentance, our prayers or our conquests of sin. Right away from anything that comes from us we look to Jesus, who is all our salvation, the Alpha and the Omega, the Author and Finisher of faith. And simple faith itself is always the work of the Spirit.

To you who are seeking the Lord, believe on Him now with all your heart, turn from your sins and confess Him openly. Follow and obey Jesus as He commands, and take up His Word. Your counsel to begin in the book of John is wise, for there you shall see most clearly the glory of the Son of God and His finished work, and then as you read Matthew, Mark and Luke you shall know Him more. May the Lord through the Spirit wait upon you and work in you that faith which lays hold on Christ, and that repentance which needs not to be repented of, to the praise of His grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
