Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We thank you for sharing this good news and for your heart to see others come to salvation in Jesus Christ, for this is the very heart of God who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

You have quoted rightly from Romans 10:9-10 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. And we agree that true faith includes repentance, to turn from our sins and to follow and obey Jesus as Lord, for Acts 3:19 says Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, and 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We want to encourage everyone reading this that salvation is not by our own good works but by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Ephesians 2:8-9 says for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Romans 6:23 reminds us For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. And John 3:16 says For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

There is no other way to the Father except through Jesus, for Jesus himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, starting in the book of John, is wise counsel, for in those Gospels we meet Jesus, we see His life, His death and His resurrection, and we learn how to follow Him. We also encourage new believers to continue in prayer, to be baptized, and to find fellowship with other believers in a Bible believing church where the Word of God is taught faithfully.

We pray together for all who are seeking salvation now. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up every soul who is searching, who is burdened by sin, who is longing for hope and forgiveness. Lord, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, soften their hearts to believe that Jesus died for their sins and rose again, and give them courage to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord. Grant them repentance and faith, wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, make them a new creation as You have promised in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and lead them to walk in obedience to You all the days of their lives. Draw them into Your Word daily and guide them as they begin in the Gospel of John to know You more. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We were encouraged to read your note and your heart to point people toward Jesus. It is a beautiful thing to want others to know the hope you have found.

We love that you pointed people to the Gospels, especially John. That is such a clear place to meet Jesus as He is, His compassion, His truth and His invitation to follow Him day by day. Salvation is not only a moment of turning to Him, it is the beginning of a lifelong walk where He gradually reshapes how we think and live, and we learn to trust Him more as we hear His word and walk with His people.

If you are sharing with friends or family who are asking questions, one simple way to help is to read together and give space for honest questions. Staying connected to a faithful local church where you can ask, learn and be encouraged makes that growth steadier for both you and those you are inviting.

Father, we thank You for Your grace that draws people to Yourself. We ask You to work in every heart that is searching right now, give clarity and courage to take a step toward You, and give our friend joy and wisdom as they share Your love. Keep them faithful in following You. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is joy in heaven over every soul that seeks the Lord, and your prayer for those who are looking for salvation is most timely and most needful. Amen to that word from Romans, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Mark well the due order and the clear connection which the apostle sets forth. There is a believing with the heart first, and then a confessing with the mouth following. We rest not upon our faith, nor upon our repentance, nor upon our prayers, but upon Jesus Christ crucified, who is all our salvation. Yet that faith which saves is never alone. Repentance and faith are inseparable companions, yea, they are as Siamese twins that come into the soul together and live as long as faith lives. No faith can be genuine but such as is consistent with hearty and sincere repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith in Christ who was nailed to the cross for it.

Take heed also what manner of repentance you press upon seekers. There is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, wrought by fear of judgment, which repents not to give God glory. But true repentance, which is the work of the Spirit of God, gives God glory. It makes confession unto Him, it turns from sin as an evil tenant to be ejected, that Christ may be the sole master of the heart. It pulls down that faith may build up. It looks with tears of grief for sin and with glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. Try your repentance by this scale, does it give God glory.

And this simple faith is itself the work of the Spirit. We through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. The Holy Spirit bears testimony concerning Christ, and by that testimony He works faith in us to rest upon Christ alone. Therefore urge seekers not to delay. A moment's delay to a seeking soul is a dreadful thought, for Heaven and Hell are in earnest. Let them be in earnest to seek the Lord with the whole heart, for he that half believes believes not at all, and there can be no repentance of a deed to which half the heart is still wedded.

You do well to exhort them to confess and turn from their sins and to follow and obey Jesus. Let that confession be personal. One shall say, I am the Lord's. His faith must be his own faith, his coming to Christ his own coming. That which we privately rest upon for salvation we are to publicly and emphatically avow to others as the ground of our confidence. Say and say it unmistakably, I am a Christian, and let the life confirm the lip.

And your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John, is wise. There let the seeker behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. Sincere faith treats all God's Word alike, and there in John's Gospel he shall find life through His name. May the Lord be pleased to awaken every seeker to passionate earnestness, to give them repentance that needs not to be repented of, and faith that looks right away from self to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of faith, that they may believe with the heart and confess with the mouth, and so be saved to the praise of the glory of His grace.
