For those who are looking for salvation..

Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We thank God for your heart to share the good news of salvation and we join with you in lifting up all those who are seeking the Lord right now. We agree that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone and we rejoice that you have pointed others to the truth of the gospel.

You have quoted a most precious promise and we love to speak it again as it is written, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10

We also remember the words, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. This reminds us that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through faith in Him that we are forgiven and made new.

We affirm your encouragement to confess and turn from sins, for God calls us to repentance. As it is written, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19. And we are reminded, For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9. When we truly believe, God makes us new, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

We think your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John, is excellent counsel. In those Gospels we meet Jesus Himself, His life, His teaching, His death and resurrection, and we learn what it means to follow and obey Him. We encourage every seeker to pray, to read the Word daily, and to turn from sin to walk in obedience to Christ.

We pray together for all who are looking for salvation today.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up every soul who is hungry for forgiveness, for hope, and for eternal life. Lord, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and draw them to Yourself. Help them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and to believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Grant them repentance to turn from their sins and faith to trust fully in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Wash them in His blood, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and make them new creations in Christ. Lead them into Your Word, especially into the Gospels, that they may know Jesus more and follow Him all the days of their lives. We ask that You surround them with faithful believers who will disciple them and encourage them to walk in obedience. We thank You that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved and we rejoice in Your mercy and grace. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for taking time to write this and for your care for people who are searching.

We hear your heart to point people toward Jesus simply and clearly, and to invite them to turn to Him and follow Him. That kind of steady witness matters more than you may see in the moment.

We love your encouragement to start in John. Sitting with the life of Jesus, His words and His ways, gives new believers a solid place to learn who He is and what it means to walk with Him day by day. Salvation is not only about a moment of decision but about being made whole and learning to live in grace over time.

If you are walking alongside someone who is curious, one simple next step we have found helpful is to stay available after that first conversation. Ask how their reading is going, listen to their questions without rushing to answer everything, and keep praying for them by name. God does the transforming work in the heart as we stay faithful to show up.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy that makes salvation possible through Jesus. We ask You to draw those who are seeking to Yourself, give them understanding as they read, and help them turn to You with honest hearts. Strengthen our friend as they share Your love with others and help them keep growing in faith as well. In Jesus' name, amen.

What a mercy it is when the heart begins to seek after salvation, for that very seeking is often the first stirring of the Spirit of God within the soul. The word you have quoted is true and precious, for with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. There is a due order here and a clear connection. Faith comes first in the heart, resting upon Jesus Christ crucified, and confession follows with the mouth, and the result of the two put together is salvation.

Take care that you understand what true faith and true repentance are, for they are inseparable graces. They are as Siamese twins and live as long as each other. No faith can be genuine but such as is perfectly consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith. Repentance which ejects sin as an evil tenant and faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart must come into the soul together.

There is a repentance that is of the flesh, a carnal repentance wrought by fear or judgment, which does not give God glory. But the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts gives Him glory. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. This is repentance unto life, the germ which contains all the essentials of salvation. Know that it is not a preparation for faith, but a gift of God preached in the name of Jesus. He gives repentance as one of the free gifts of His grace.

Do not think you must attain some eminent degree of repentance or faith before you may come to Christ. There are degrees of faith and yet the least faith saves, so there are degrees of repentance and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere. We rest not upon our faith, our repentance, our prayers or our conquests of sin, but upon Jesus who is all our salvation, the Author and Finisher of faith. Simple faith is itself the work of the Spirit, who bears witness to Christ.

Therefore believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and with your mouth unmistakably confess that Jesus is Lord. Let your confession be personal. Your faith must be your own faith, your repentance must be repentance of your own sin, your coming to Christ must be your own coming. Do not be ashamed to say, I am the Lord's. That which you privately rest upon for salvation you are to publicly and emphatically avow to others as the ground of your confidence.

And as you have been exhorted, turn from your sins and follow and obey Him. True faith will beget obedience, for sincere faith treats all God's Word alike. Begin as you propose in the Gospel of John, and continue in Matthew, Mark and Luke, that you may know Him whom you have believed and learn to roll your burden upon the Lord day by day.

May the Lord grant to every seeking soul that true repentance and that living faith which look to Christ alone, and may He restore unto you the joy of His salvation as you confess His name and walk in His ways.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your heart for those who are seeking salvation is good and pleasing to God, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord and for lifting up His word so faithfully.

What you have shared from Romans 10 is the very foundation of our hope. With the heart we believe and are made right with God, and with the mouth we confess Jesus as Lord and are saved. That confession is not empty words, but a true turning of the heart toward Him, believing that God raised Jesus from the dead, and turning away from sin to follow and obey Him.

Scripture teaches that godly sorrow leads to repentance that brings salvation, and that true faith bears fruit in a changed life. To condemn our own sins, to confess them honestly before God, and to bring forth fruits that show repentance is the way we come to our Redeemer and receive His forgiveness. There is one sacrifice for sins, the cross of Christ, and through faith in Him we receive forgiveness and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We join you in praying for all who are searching even now. We pray that God will open their hearts to hear the gospel, that they will confess Jesus as Lord, believe in His resurrection, turn from their sins, and walk in obedience to Him. We pray that He will give them hunger for His word and draw them to Himself in mercy.

Your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning with John, is wise. In the Gospel of John especially we see clearly who Jesus is, the Son of God, and why He came to bear witness to the truth and to give His life for us. May all who seek Him continue there and come to know Him more deeply.

We thank God for your faithfulness in sharing this truth and we pray that many will hear, repent, believe and be saved through Jesus Christ alone.
