Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in sharing this most important truth and we thank you for your heart to see others come to salvation in Jesus Christ. What you have shared is the very heart of the gospel, that God has made a way for sinners to be reconciled to Him through His Son.

We want to gently clarify the precious promise you quoted so that those seeking may hear it clearly, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10. This is the foundation of our hope, not by our own goodness or works, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9.

You are right to call those who believe to also confess and turn from their sins. True faith includes repentance, a turning away from sin and turning toward God. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. And we are called to repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19. Following and obeying Jesus is the fruit and evidence of a changed heart, for Jesus said, If you love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15. We do not obey to earn salvation, but because we have been saved and love Him who first loved us.

We love your encouragement for new believers to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John. That is wise counsel, for there they will meet Jesus Himself, His life, His teachings, His death and His resurrection. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16. And Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.

We pray together for all who are looking for salvation even now. Father in heaven, we lift up every seeking heart who is reading these words. We ask that You draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and give them faith to believe in Your Son Jesus Christ. Help them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and to believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Grant them repentance to turn from their sins and grace to follow and obey Jesus all the days of their lives. Fill them with assurance that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13. Lead them into Your Word, especially the Gospels, that they may know Jesus more and be rooted in Your truth. Transform them into new creations in Christ and guide them into fellowship with other believers who will help them grow. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were grateful to read your note and the care you have for people who are still searching. It means a lot when someone takes the time to point others gently toward Jesus and to encourage them to open the Bible for themselves, especially the story of His life and love in John.

We find that coming to faith is both a moment of trusting Christ and the beginning of a lifelong walk with Him. It brings forgiveness and also a new way of living day by day, learning to walk in His grace and to grow in knowing Him. That growth happens best not alone but with others who can answer questions, pray, and walk alongside.

For anyone reading this who is exploring what it means to follow Jesus, a simple next step is to keep reading a little in John each day and to talk honestly with a pastor or a mature believer in a local church about what you are reading and what is stirring in your heart. Bring your questions and keep praying as you read.

Father, thank You for Your mercy that draws us to Yourself through Jesus. We ask that You would work in every heart that is seeking, give clarity and hunger for truth, and lead each one into a saving relationship with Christ and into fellowship where they can grow. In Jesus name, Amen.

How precious is this burden you have brought before the Lord, that souls seeking salvation may find it in Christ. The word you have quoted is indeed the very gate of life, for with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

There is a due order for faith and confession and there is a clear connection between them. First the heart must believe. To be just in the sight of God is never possible apart from faith, for the just shall live by faith. We rest upon Jesus Christ crucified and not upon our faith, our repentance, our prayers or our conquests of sin. Right away from anything that comes from us we look to Jesus, who is all our salvation, the Alpha and Omega, the Author and Finisher of faith. Simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and it is by the Spirit that we continue to exercise it.

And that faith is never alone. The repentance we ought to preach is one connected with faith, and they come into the soul together. No repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, and no faith is true but that which is linked with hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin. True repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God, gives God glory. It is not a carnal repentance that withers when judgment is past, but a holy sorrow that turns from sin because Christ was nailed to the cross for it. Repentance lives as long as faith, and toward faith it is as a twin, we shall need to believe and to repent as long as we live.

Then comes confession, and this confession must be personal. One shall say, I am the Lord's, and that with his own mouth. That which we privately and personally rest upon for salvation, we are to publicly and emphatically avow to others as the ground of our confidence. Do say and say it unmistakably, I am a Christian, trusting Christ alone. Let not any sponsorship or fashion carry you, but let your faith be your own faith, your coming to Christ your own coming.

And faith, if it be true, will bring forth its gracious fruit, which is obedience. Faith is the morning star of obedience. When fear is grafted upon faith it brings forth good fruit. Noah obeyed the Lord exactly and very carefully, and so must we. We do not give a secondary place to obedience, yet we preach the obedience of a child, not of a slave, the obedience of love, not of terror. We accept the Lord Jesus by faith and He teaches us obedience and creates it in us. The more of faith in Him you have, the more of obedience to Him will you manifest.

Your counsel to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to start in the book of John, is wise. There the glory of the Son of God shines most clearly, that men may see and believe that Jesus is the Christ and have life through His name. May the Holy Spirit work in every seeking heart to treat all God's Word alike, to believe with the heart, to confess with the mouth, to turn from sin and to follow the Lord with wholehearted obedience.

We join you in prayer that the Lord will draw many to Himself, that they may confess that Jesus is Lord, believe that God raised Him from the dead, and be saved, to the glory of God alone.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burden for those who are seeking salvation is good and right, and we join you in prayer for them. It is the glory of our Lord that those who are saved should be many, and His death was for the salvation of the world.

Scripture indeed shows us the short and sure way of salvation. As it is written, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. This short word carries with it not only salvation but also righteousness, and it does not require a long circuit of works of the law. Salvation is of God and by His mercy, received through faith.

We pray for all who are seeking today, that God would grant them true repentance and faith. May they turn from their sins, confess Jesus as Lord with sincerity, believe in His resurrection with their whole heart, and follow and obey Him. May they not rest in any other hope, but in Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

We also pray that those who are seeking will take up the Scriptures as you have encouraged. The Gospel of John is a wonderful place to begin, for it clearly shows who Jesus is, that He is the Son of God, and that by believing we may have life in His name. From there, Matthew, Mark and Luke will also build them up in knowing Him more fully.

We ask God to draw each seeking heart to Himself, to make familiar by His Spirit the truth of Christ, and to give steadfast faith that continues and bears fruit in a life of obedience. Let us give thanks continually for so great a salvation and for the mercy that delivers us.

Father, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ alone, that those who hear this word would believe and confess and be saved, and that You would keep them by Your power to walk with You faithfully. Amen.
