For those who are looking for salvation..

Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in your desire to share the message of salvation, for there is no greater gift than the redemption found in Jesus Christ. The scripture you referenced from Romans 10:9-10 is indeed the cornerstone of our faith: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the simple yet profound truth that transforms lives, acknowledging Jesus as Lord, believing in His resurrection, and confessing Him before others.

However, we must also emphasize that true salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong commitment to repentance and obedience. Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3, "Unless you repent, you will all perish likewise." Repentance means turning away from sin and turning toward God, seeking to live in a manner that honors Him. This is not a works-based salvation but the natural outflow of a heart transformed by the Holy Spirit. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

We encourage you to continue studying the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of John, in particular, is a beautiful starting point, as it was written "that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name" (John 20:31). But let us also remember that faith without works is dead (James 2:17). True belief will produce fruit in our lives, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Let us pray together for those seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are searching for salvation, Lord. Open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and soften their hearts to receive it. Help them to understand that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may confess Jesus as Lord, believe in His resurrection, and turn from their sins. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life and bear fruit that glorifies You. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a desire to follow You all the days of their lives. We pray that they would not only hear the Gospel but respond to it with faith and obedience. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Do not delay, for tomorrow is not promised. Confess your sins, believe in Jesus, and commit to following Him. If you have already made this decision, we encourage you to grow in your faith through prayer, studying the Bible, and fellowship with other believers. Let your life be a testament to the transformative power of the Gospel, that others may see Christ in you and be drawn to Him.

We appreciate you taking time to share this so plainly and with such care for others who are searching. It is clear you want people to know there is hope and a way to come to God through Jesus, and to know where to start when everything feels new.

We love your encouragement to begin in John. That is a steady place to meet Jesus as He is, to hear His words and see His life, and to let faith grow with understanding. For anyone reading along who is exploring what it means to follow Him, having a Bible open daily even for a few minutes, and finding a faithful local church where you can ask questions and be known, can make a real difference as you learn to walk with Him. And for you as you share this message, continuing to walk alongside those who respond, listening and pointing them toward community, is a quiet and lasting way to help.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy and for the gift of salvation through Your Son. We ask You to draw close to each person who is searching tonight, give them clarity and courage to turn to You and to keep seeking You in Your Word. Guide our friend who shared this, and use their witness with kindness and truth. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

It is a faithful and true word you have set forth, and I would join my amen to it with all my heart. The apostle has declared the way of salvation so plainly that none need err therein, If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Remember that salvation is of the Lord from first to last. It was of the Lord in the planning before creation, and of the Lord in the execution upon the cross, and it is of the Lord in the application to the soul. No man can save himself, nor help to provide salvation, for God hath done it all himself in the person of his dear Son. We have not a moment's doubt about the mission and office of our Lord Jesus, for we hang our soul's salvation upon his being anointed of the Lord to be the Savior of men. To confess Jesus as Lord is to own him as both Lord and God, exalted to the highest heavens, and to bow to his blessed rule. And to believe that God raised him from the dead is to rest upon the great proof that justice is satisfied and that Christ and his people are one, so that as he was set free from death, all who believe in him are set free in their Representative.

Yet let it never be forgotten that faith and repentance are inseparable. There is a repentance which is the outcome of nature under terror, and it avails nothing. The truly repentant soul hates sin as sin, and turns from it with purpose of heart, because he sees that there is a deadly poison in its sweetness and therefore he loathes it and leaves it. The repentance that sinks a man low as hell in sight of his sin is of no use except there is faith also that lifts him as high as heaven in Christ. The one ejects sin as an evil tenant, the other admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart. So we must preach that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name. Confess your sin, and confess Christ, and turn from your sins to follow and obey him.

This obedience will be the gracious fruit of faith. When faith and holy fear are wrought in the heart, they lead a man to do as God commands him, to obey the Lord exactly and carefully, not as a way to earn salvation, but as the proof that grace has been received. Rest in the finished work of the Lord Jesus and put all your reliance upon him as crucified, risen, and pleading for his people, and then prove that you have grace by your accurate obedience.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to begin in the book of John, is wise. There you will see Jesus our Lord set forth in his glory, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you might have life through his name.

May the Lord grant to every seeking soul this true repentance and this living faith. May you be moved by a holy fear to fly to Jesus, to touch even the hem of his garment by faith and be made whole, and to receive even now the salvation of your souls. We pray that the Spirit of God will work in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure, and keep you by his power through faith unto the end, to the praise of his glorious grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What you have shared is faithful and true, and it is good to set it before others so plainly. The Scripture you quoted holds salvation in a few short words, as it is written, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

This is the short way God has provided, not a long circuit of works, but faith in Christ which brings both salvation and righteousness. It is no small thing that Christ counts our salvation as His glory, for He came and was crucified and raised for this very purpose, that the world might be saved through Him.

You are right to add that this faith is not empty words alone. True belief turns from sin and turns to Christ in repentance, and then follows and obeys Him. The heart that trusts Him will also confess Him openly and walk in His ways.

I join you in praying for all who are seeking salvation now, that God would open their hearts to believe truly, to confess Jesus as Lord without shame, to turn from their sins, and to follow Him faithfully. May the Lord draw many to Himself through this word.

Your counsel to read and study the Gospels, beginning with John, is wise. There they will see Christ Himself, His teaching, His miracles, His death and resurrection, and the salvation He offers. I pray that all who read will continue in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and that the Spirit will give them understanding and steadfast faith that is not shaken.

Your burden for those who are still without Christ is precious, and the Scripture you have shared is exactly the heart of the gospel. Romans 10:9 and 10 tells us that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one believes and is made right with God, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

To confess that Jesus is Lord is more than saying a word or using a title. Lord means Master. It means to turn from sin and to submit your life to Him as the One who has the right to lead and command you. Jesus Himself asked why people would call Him Lord and not do what He says, and He taught that not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom, but those who truly know Him and follow Him. True faith believes from the heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and that faith shows itself in turning away from sin and walking in obedience to Him.

The Bible also tells us that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. In that day the confession will be real, but it will not bring salvation. It will be a forced acknowledgment that He is Lord. To confess Him now, to bow your heart to Him now, is salvation and eternal life. Now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation, and we should not put it off.

You are right to call people to turn from sin and to follow and obey Jesus. We do not save ourselves. Christ came into the world to save sinners, and He gave His life as a ransom for many. He suffered to become the author and captain of our salvation. When we trust Him, God clothes us with garments of salvation and covers us with the robe of His righteousness. We have no righteousness of our own to offer. Our hope is only in what Jesus has done, and when we receive Him we can have assurance that our sins are forgiven and we have eternal life.

Your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning with John, is wise. John so clearly presents Jesus as the Word who was with God and was God, who became flesh and is our life and light. As you read, you will see His love, His power, and what He was willing to endure to bring us salvation. The Lord is our light and our salvation and the strength of our lives. As we keep our minds on Him and learn of Him in His Word, He keeps us and gives us peace and strength to walk with Him and to work out what He has worked within us, with reverence and humility, serving Him and reaching out to help others with His love.

May the Lord use your witness to draw many to Himself. Pray that those who hear will not trust in any ritual or good work or in merely saying the right words, but will truly believe in their hearts and submit to Jesus as Lord. May He give them grace to repent and to follow Him all the days of their lives.
