Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. The scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is a powerful declaration of the simplicity and beauty of the gospel: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, and we stand firmly upon it.

Yet, we must also emphasize that true salvation is not merely a one-time confession of words but a transformation of the heart that leads to a life of repentance and obedience. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Salvation is a gift from God, but it is also a call to turn away from sin and follow Christ wholeheartedly. The apostle James reminds us in James 2:17, "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself." True faith produces fruit, evidence of a changed life.

If you are seeking salvation, we encourage you to not only confess Jesus as Lord but to also turn away from sin and surrender your life to Him. This means examining your heart and life in light of Scripture, confessing any known sin, and asking God to help you walk in obedience to His Word. The book of John is indeed a wonderful place to start, as it beautifully reveals Jesus as the Son of God and the only way to the Father (John 14:6). However, we also encourage you to read the entire Bible, for all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).

Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation found only in Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for those who are seeking You today, that You would draw them near and open their eyes to the truth of the gospel. Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts to receive Your Word and convict them of their need for a Savior. Help them to see their sin and the weight of it, but also the overwhelming love and grace You offer through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.

Father, we pray that those who confess Jesus as Lord would not stop at words but would truly repent and turn away from sin. Give them the strength and courage to walk in obedience to Your Word and to live lives that honor You. Surround them with fellow believers who can encourage and disciple them in their faith. May they grow in the knowledge and love of You, and may their lives bear witness to the transforming power of the gospel.

Lord, we also pray for those who may be struggling with doubt or who have not yet fully surrendered to You. Meet them where they are and reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Help them to understand that salvation is not earned by works but is a free gift received by faith. Yet, remind them that true faith is alive and active, producing a life that reflects Your love and holiness.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

To those seeking salvation, we urge you to not delay. Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we encourage you to do so now. Talk to God in prayer, confess your sins, and ask Him to save you. Then, find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be baptized as a public declaration of your commitment to Christ.

Remember, Jesus said in John 10:27-28, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand." If you have truly surrendered to Him, you can rest in the assurance of your salvation. However, if you find yourself struggling with ongoing sin or a lack of desire to follow Christ, we encourage you to examine your heart and seek God earnestly. True salvation will produce a hunger for righteousness and a desire to live for Him.

May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek Him with all your heart.

What a beautiful burden you've shared, to see others come to know Jesus. We join you in that longing, and it's encouraging to hear your heart for those who are still searching.

Sometimes when we tell people to “confess and turn from sin,” it can sound like they need to first get their lives in order before coming to Christ. But the turning, that deep, real change, is something God works in us over time. Faith begins with a simple, even shaky, yes: “I believe you, Lord.” That’s enough. From there, He does the heavy lifting. So as we pray for those looking for salvation, we can remind them (and ourselves) that coming to Jesus isn’t about having perfect theology or a spotless past; it’s about coming to the One who already knows every detail and still calls us His own.

Your suggestion to start in the Gospel of John is a good one. Maybe you could offer to read it alongside someone who is curious, just a chapter at a time, with space to talk about what they notice. Often, simply spending time in the stories of Jesus opens hearts more than any argument ever could.

Lord Jesus, You are the One who draws every seeking heart to Yourself. We lift up all who are on the edge of faith right now, those who are afraid, confused, or ashamed. Quietly meet them where they are. Let them sense Your welcome, not our pressure. Give them courage to believe in their hearts and to speak that belief aloud, no matter how small their step feels. And keep our own hearts patient and trusting as we wait with them. In Your name we pray, Amen.

The very heart of the gospel beats in those words from Romans. You have not missed the mark in directing the seeking soul to this divine simplicity. Salvation is indeed bound up with the heart’s belief and the mouth’s confession. Never separate what God has joined together. One tree is not a forest, and one avowal of Christ is not the confession of Christ unto salvation. The confession that the Lord accepts is not a mere repetition of a creed once uttered, but a life that continually owns Him, a living cross carried openly before a watching world. There must be no confession with the mouth where there is not a believing with the heart, for with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and then with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

See here the whole machinery of salvation. God provides a perfect righteousness in Christ Jesus. You have not to make a righteousness, you have to accept the one that is made for you. This is the way, “Believe and live.” Believe in Christ dying, Christ raised from the dead. If you so believe, you are saved. Our Lord Jesus was delivered up for our offences and raised again for our justification. These are the Jachin and Boaz, the two massive columns that support the temple of our salvation. Between these two great truths lies the King’s highway to eternal life, and there is no other road.

Yet, while I press this simple faith, let none ignore the repentance that gives God glory. You wisely urge, “confess and turn from your sins.” True repentance is the work of the Spirit of God and it glorifies Him. It is not a fleeting sorrow wrung out by fear of judgment, but a holy, heavenly change of mind that continues all our days. The goodness of God leads you to repentance; He does not drive as a slaveholder, but draws with cords of love. Repentance lives as long as faith. If you lean upon the bosom of Christ by a believing trust, sweet repentance will keep you company and crown your walk with a tender hatred of every sin.

And what you counsel from the Scriptures is excellent. Study the Evangelists, and begin where the clearest light shines, in John. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. As you read, take care that you confess all His words as well as Himself. Let the truth you there discover openly mark your life, your household, your daily walk. A true confession is not a noisy, ostentatious thing, but it is a transformed spirit and a changed life, so that men take knowledge of you that you have been with Jesus. Go forward, then, and outwardly acknowledge what you inwardly believe. The promise stands sure and cannot be broken: Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The foundation you have laid from Romans is the very gateway of life. You rightly see that the mouth must confess and the heart believe. But let no one imagine these are mere words, a swift utterance of the tongue while the soul remains unchanged. That confession which saves is the confession of a life, a testimony that echoes the Lord’s own. When He stood before Pilate and declared His Kingdom, when He testified to the Truth, that was the good confession which we must imitate. So then, your confession that Jesus is Lord must be spoken not only with your lips but with your courage, your readiness to suffer reproach for Him, your public alignment with His name when the world demands silence. This is the noble confession of which the Apostle speaks, the kind that plants the Church upon a rock.

And belief in the heart, that the Father raised Him from the dead, is not the work of human logic. No reasoning can demonstrate the Resurrection; it is known solely through faith. Yet this faith is not idle. How do we truly believe that Christ has risen? By giving ourselves over to dangers for His sake, by having fellowship with His sufferings, by being conformed to His death through our own trials. The one who endures persecution and seeks not his own good but the good of many, that one especially believes in the risen, living Lord. Faith is completed through good works, through a life shaped like His cross.

Therefore, do not think salvation rests in a lineage of Christian parents or a single fervent moment. As John the Baptist cast down the refuge of physical descent from Abraham, so now you must rest your hope entirely in your own repentance and self-control. The beginning of this path is a piercing sense of your own sins. He who does not condemn himself runs from Christ, but he who comes to a true knowledge of his wounds will hasten to the Redeemer for remission. Repentance is not to punish you but to humble you, that you might long for healing.

And you counsel well to start in the Gospel of John. There you behold the Word made flesh, sowing the seeds of faith. For just as the first witness of the empty tomb was given to a woman whose report prepared the disciples for belief, so the reading of the Scriptures prepares your soul. Sight will come later; first, you must walk by the report of the Holy Spirit which speaks in those pages. Do not delay, as those of whom the prophet spoke, “Lest at any time they should be converted, and I should heal them.” This terrible word implies that their conversion was possible, and that upon their repentance they would be saved. God speaks this to draw you, to provoke you, to show that He stands ready to heal if only you will turn. Answer that call now. Condemn yourself now in the court of your conscience, that you may not be condemned at the judgment. Let your study of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John be not an exercise of curiosity but a mirror for your soul, a daily turning from your own vain imaginings to the living Commandments of the One you now call Lord. Obedience is the proof. Follow Him, and He will bring you to the power of His resurrection.
