For those who are looking for salvation..

Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. The scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is a powerful declaration of the simplicity and depth of God’s grace: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, acknowledging Jesus as Lord, believing in His resurrection, and surrendering our lives to Him.

However, we must also emphasize that true salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong transformation. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Salvation is evidenced by a changed heart, a turning away from sin, and a commitment to follow Christ in obedience. James 2:17 reminds us, "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself." This means that while we are saved by grace through faith, our faith should produce fruit, love, repentance, and a desire to live according to God’s Word.

For those who are seeking salvation, we encourage you to not only confess Jesus as Lord but to also turn away from sin and pursue a life that honors Him. This includes studying His Word, as you mentioned, particularly the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, which reveal the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior. Start with the book of John, as it beautifully presents Jesus as the Son of God and the only way to eternal life. John 14:6 declares, "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"

Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for those who are searching for truth, for those who are lost, and for those who are ready to surrender their lives to You. Lord, open their hearts to receive Your Word and to understand the depth of Your love for them. Help them to confess Jesus as Lord, to believe in His resurrection, and to turn away from sin. Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to live lives that glorify You. May they find peace, purpose, and eternal life in You. We pray that they would grow in their faith, studying Your Word and walking in obedience to Your commands. Thank You, Lord, for the promise of salvation and for the hope we have in Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

To those who are seeking, we also want to gently rebuke any notion that salvation can be earned or that it is merely a transactional confession. Salvation is a gift from God, received by faith, but it requires a surrender of the heart. If you have been living in sin, whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry, hatred, or any other disobedience, we urge you to repent and turn to Christ. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Do not delay in surrendering your life to Him, for tomorrow is not promised.

Lastly, we encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be discipled, and serve the Lord alongside others.

May the Lord bless you and draw you closer to Him as you seek His face. Remember, salvation is found in Jesus alone, and there is no greater decision you can make than to give your life to Him.

We hear your heart for those who are still searching. It’s a beautiful thing to see someone so eager to point others toward the new life Jesus offers, and starting folks in John is a wonderful place. That Gospel is full of real conversations, honest doubts, and the clear, gentle way Jesus met people where they were.

Sometimes the most powerful next step after sharing a verse is to pick one name you can’t stop thinking about. Not a crowd, just one person. Pray for them by name each day this week. Ask God to open a natural door for a real conversation, not a sales pitch. You don’t have to have all the answers; you just need to be willing to listen and to say, “Would you like to read a little of John with me? I think you’ll see something special in him.”

We’re joining you in praying for every seeking heart, and for you as you carry that burden.

Jesus, you are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine for the one. We ask you to draw men and women, young and old, who are tired of empty wells and are ready to meet you. Give each of them someone who will walk alongside, answer questions with patience, and show your love without pressure. And for this friend who shared the request: fill them with courage and kindness, and let them see the joy of a life turned toward you. In your name, Jesus. Amen.

You come with the very words of Scripture upon your lips, quoting that blessed promise from Romans, this is well, for the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit. Yet let me press home the question: has this confession and belief become your own soul’s reality? For there is a due order here: with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. The heart-work must come first, for faith is the morning star of obedience, and without it all confession is but mimicry. That faith which saves is no mere assent of the mind, but a trusting grip upon Christ alone, a faith that treats all God’s Word alike, a faith for daily consumption, not merely for the hour of terror. It is a great mystery, yet most true, that faith and repentance enter the soul together. The repentance that needeth not to be repented of gives God glory, it ejects sin as an evil tenant and admits Christ as the sole Master of the heart. Have you known this gracious repentance, that makes a rainbow with tears of grief and glances of hope at the love of Christ?

This faith, if genuine, will beget a holy fear, and that fear will produce careful obedience. Obedience is not a secondary matter, it is the very essence of salvation worked out in the life. But mark well, it is the obedience of a child, not of a slave; the obedience of love, not of terror; the obedience of faith, not of dread. Noah obeyed the Lord exactly and carefully, not turning to the right hand or to the left. So must it be with you. The exactness of obedience is the very essence of it; a pick-and-choose obedience is no obedience at all, but rebellion dressed in robes of pretense. Prove that you have grace by your accurate, wholehearted following after Christ in all His commands.

You urge to confess and turn from sin, and you speak rightly. But let your confession be personal, not borrowed. Another cannot subscribe for you; you must with your own mouth say, “I am the Lord’s.” It is with the mouth that confession is made unto salvation. This public avowal is no trifle, it is the outflow of the heart’s belief. Yet do not dissociate the word from the action; the best confession is a life of prompt, scrupulous obedience, beginning at home and filling its hands full there. The path of obedience is the middle path, the way of courage. To persist in it throughout life demands more strength than the martyr’s fleeting fire, and that strength comes only by the indwelling Spirit through faith.

You bid us read and study the Gospels, starting in John. This is wise, for there we gaze upon the Christ who is all our salvation, the Alpha and Omega, the Author and Finisher of faith. Yet take heed: salvation is by grace through faith, and not of works, lest any man should boast. We rest upon Jesus Christ crucified, not upon our faith, our repentance, our readings, our prayers. Right away from anything in us, we look to Jesus only! That simple trust is itself the work of the Spirit, and it is consistent with a life of loving obedience. May the Holy Spirit work in you so that by faith you obey, and in obeying find the assurance you seek.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have rightly quoted the Apostle: if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. But see that your confession is not a bare utterance of the lips. It must spring from a heart that has already condemned its own sins and turned away from them in earnest. John the Baptist did nothing else but cry out, “Bring forth fruits worthy of repentance,” so that people, brought low by a sense of their own wickedness, might long for a Redeemer. True confession is joined to genuine repentance, a godly sorrow that works salvation, not the sorrow of the world that only breeds death.

Do not imagine that a moment’s word saves while the life goes on unchanged. Even Christ, the Son, learned obedience through what He suffered, and being made perfect He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him. So faith must be proven by obedience. The grace that saves is not of yourselves; you did not first believe and then receive a reward. You were called, you were sanctified in Christ, you obeyed a summons. And lest anyone think there is a backup sacrifice if we fail, hear this clearly: Christ offered one sacrifice for sins forever, and by that one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. There remains no more sacrifice, no second cross. Yet there remains repentance! Let no fallen soul despair. The Physician has left us remedies: prayer, fasting, almsgiving, a contrite heart, humility, forgiveness of those who wrong us, contempt for possessions. These things restore the wounded.

You do well to direct seekers to the Gospels, especially John, for there they will see the good confession our Lord Himself made before Pilate, testifying that He came to bear witness to the truth. Let them read, believe, and obey, not resting their hope on ancestry or external privileges, but each one on his own repentance and perseverance. Call on the name of the Lord Jesus, for everyone who calls on that name shall be saved, rich in mercy to all who call upon Him in sincerity and deed, not merely in word. The Lord is at hand; flee to Him while it is day.

If you are looking for salvation, you have already been directed to the very foundation of hope: confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. That is God’s promise, and it is as direct and powerful as it sounds. There is nothing to add to it, no work that can make you more acceptable. Righteousness comes exclusively through faith in Jesus Christ. When you trust him, God credits that trust to you as righteousness, just as he did with Abraham centuries ago. The law could never justify anyone; it only reveals our need for a Savior. But by faith, the gift is yours.

Yet the faith that saves is never a shallow thing. It is not based on a momentary surge of excitement or the sight of something spectacular. A faith anchored in emotions or signs is like a house built on sand. Jesus entrusts himself to those whose faith rests on the bedrock of his word. That is why opening the Bible, starting with the Gospel of John, is so vital. As you read, the Spirit will use those living words to ignite and strengthen genuine belief. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Our feelings fluctuate, but God’s truth remains firm forever. Let your trust be planted there.

True faith also proves itself. It is not enough to simply say, “I have faith.” Even demons believe and tremble. But a living faith is always accompanied by a changed life. It produces fruit: repentance, a deliberate turning from sin, and a steady desire to follow and obey Jesus. This is not about earning salvation, works cannot produce faith any more than they can replace it. Instead, the works are the evidence, the outward demonstration of an inward reality. When faith takes hold of your heart, it begins to reshape your actions. You are saved by faith alone, but the faith that saves you will never leave you unchanged.

That kind of faith endures. It may be tested and proved through trials, but suffering is no sign that God has withdrawn his hand. Believers of old trusted him through both triumph and torture, and they died in faith, looking forward to the fulfillment of every promise. Your confidence is not in a trouble-free life but in the resurrected Christ, who was delivered up for our offenses and raised for our justification. The Holy Spirit comes to you in the same way you began, by faith, not by striving. You receive him as a gift, not a wage.

So if salvation is what you seek, do not wait. In the quiet of your heart, confess Jesus as Lord, and believe that God raised him from the dead. Right then, you are justified. All your sins are covered. Then let that faith begin to work. Turn from what is contrary to him, and walk in what pleases him. Open the book of John today and meet the living Word. As you gaze on Jesus, your faith will deepen and your life will gradually align with the truth you now hold. The just shall live by faith, and that life starts right where you are.
