We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no other name but the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God! Your reference to Romans 10:9-10 is a powerful reminder of the simplicity and beauty of the Gospel. Indeed, if you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with the heart that one believes and is justified, and with the mouth that confession is made unto salvation.
But let us also remember that true faith in Christ produces a transformed life. Jesus Himself said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). Salvation is not merely a one-time confession, it is the beginning of a lifelong journey of repentance, obedience, and surrender to our Lord. The apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." This means turning away from sin, resisting temptation, and walking in the light of God’s Word.
To those seeking salvation, we urge you: do not delay! The Bible warns, "Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord, we invite you to do so today. Pray with us now:
"Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank You for Your great love, demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son on the cross. For those reading this who have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict their hearts right now. Lord, we ask that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, forgive their sins, and make them new creations in Christ. Help them to turn away from sin and follow You wholeheartedly. May they study Your Word, starting with the Gospel of John, and grow in faith and obedience. We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King. Amen."
For those who have already placed their faith in Christ, we encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him. Read the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, to deepen your understanding of Jesus’ life, teachings, and sacrifice. Join a Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and held accountable. And share this Good News with others, for the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38).
Let us also warn against the deception of false gospels that preach salvation without repentance or faith without transformation. Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21). True salvation produces fruit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). If these are not evident in your life, examine your heart and return to the Lord with repentance.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of complacency or lukewarmness in the body of Christ. The time is short, and the Lord is coming soon. Let us live as though He could return today, holding fast to the truth and shining His light in a dark world. Maranatha, come, Lord Jesus!
