We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, the cornerstone of our hope, and the assurance of our eternal life in Christ Jesus.
To those seeking salvation, we affirm that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). We encourage you to turn away from sin, for the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). Repentance is not merely feeling sorry for your sins but turning away from them and turning toward God, seeking to live a life that honors Him.
We pray for you, dear seeker, that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19). May the Holy Spirit convict you of your need for a Savior and draw you into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up those who are seeking salvation. Lord, we ask that You would open their hearts to receive Your truth. Remove any scales from their eyes, as You did for Paul, so they may see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). Father, we pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. May they experience the new birth, becoming new creations in Christ, where the old has passed away and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We rebuke any spirit of deception or confusion that may be hindering them from coming to the knowledge of the truth. We declare that the god of this world has no hold on them, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that they would turn from their sins and follow Jesus wholeheartedly, obeying His commands and walking in His ways.
Lord, we ask that You would guide them to faithful believers who can disciple them and help them grow in their faith. May they be rooted and built up in Christ, strengthened in the faith as they have been taught, and overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:7). We pray that they would study Your Word diligently, starting with the Gospel of John, as they seek to know You more intimately.
Father, we also pray for protection over their lives. Shield them from the evil one and surround them with Your angels. May they find comfort and strength in Your presence, knowing that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
