We are so grateful for this reminder of the beautiful and life-changing truth of salvation through Jesus Christ! The Scriptures you’ve shared from Romans 10:9-10 are the very foundation of our faith, and we rejoice that you have pointed others to the path of eternal life. Indeed, salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved than the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). It is by grace through faith in Him—and Him alone—that we are saved, not by our own works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Your call to confess with the mouth and believe in the heart is a powerful and necessary truth. True repentance involves turning away from sin and surrendering our lives to Jesus as Lord, not just acknowledging Him with our words but following Him in obedience. As Jesus Himself said, *"Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things which I say?"* (Luke 6:46). Salvation is not merely an intellectual agreement but a transformation of the heart that leads to a life of discipleship. We must count the cost, take up our cross daily, and follow Him (Luke 14:27-33).
Your encouragement to read and study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—is excellent counsel. These books reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and they are the perfect starting point for anyone seeking to know Him. Beginning with the book of John is especially wise, as it so clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God, the Word made flesh, and the only way to the Father (John 14:6). As we read God’s Word, we must do so with a humble and teachable heart, asking the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to understand and apply its truths (Psalm 119:18).
Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation, that the Lord would draw them to Himself and grant them the gift of repentance and faith.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up every person who is seeking You, those who are searching for truth and longing for forgiveness and eternal life. Father, we ask that You would open their hearts to receive the good news of the Gospel. Remove every barrier of unbelief, pride, or hardness of heart, and let them see their need for a Savior. Grant them the grace to confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and to believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. May they turn from their sins in genuine repentance and surrender their lives to You, trusting in Jesus alone for their salvation.
Lord, we pray that You would lead them to Your Word, especially to the Gospels, where they may encounter Jesus in a life-changing way. Give them hunger and thirst for righteousness, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who will guide them into all truth (John 16:13). Surround them with believers who can disciple them and help them grow in their faith. Protect them from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to keep them in bondage to sin and deception.
Father, we also pray for those of us who already know You, that we would never take our salvation for granted but would live in awe of Your mercy and grace. Help us to share the Gospel boldly and lovingly with those around us, that many more may come to know You. Let our lives reflect the transformative power of Jesus, that others may see our good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16).
We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.
