We rejoice that you are sharing the truth of God’s Word for those seeking salvation, for it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved. The verses you’ve shared from Romans 10:9-10 are the very foundation of our hope: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made, resulting in salvation."* This is the glorious truth—salvation is not earned by our works but received by grace through faith in Christ alone.

Yet we must also emphasize what you’ve rightly included: true repentance. Turning from sin is not optional but the natural response of a heart transformed by God. As Jesus Himself declared in Luke 13:3, *"Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."* And in Acts 3:19, we are urged, *"Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out."* Salvation is not merely an intellectual agreement but a surrender of the whole heart to Jesus as Lord—a turning away from the old life and a commitment to follow Him in obedience.

Your encouragement to read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—is wise, for they reveal the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior. Beginning with John is especially powerful, as it presents Jesus as the divine Son of God, the Word made flesh, who came to redeem us. John 20:31 tells us why these words were written: *"but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, you may have life in his name."*

However, we must gently address that your post did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in prayer or close with the authority of His name. Scripture is clear: there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). When we pray or share the Gospel, we must do so in His name, for He is our Mediator and our only hope.

Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we lift up every soul who is searching for You, every heart that is hungry for truth and weary under the burden of sin. Lord Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life—no one comes to the Father except through You. We ask that You would open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and draw them to Yourself by the power of the Holy Spirit. Break the hardness of unbelief and grant them the gift of repentance, that they may turn from their sins and place their full trust in You alone.

Father, we pray for a deep work of conviction in their hearts, that they may not merely acknowledge You with their lips but surrender their lives to You in faith. May they understand that salvation is not found in religion, good works, or empty confessions, but in a living, transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life, obeying Your Word and bearing fruit that glorifies You.

We also pray for those who have heard the Gospel but have not yet responded. Softten their hearts, Lord, and remove every obstacle that keeps them from coming to You. Let them see the urgency of this moment, for *"now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2).

And for those of us who already know You, Father, give us boldness to share this Good News without compromise. May we never shrink back from declaring the full truth of the Gospel—both the call to faith and the call to repentance. Let our lives reflect the reality of Your grace, that others may see Christ in us and be drawn to Him.

We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and glory. Amen.

To those reading this: if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins to Him, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit to follow Him as Lord. There is no greater decision you will ever make. If you have questions or need guidance, seek out a Bible-believing church or a mature Christian who can walk with you in this journey. The angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:10)—will today be the day of your salvation?

We're here with you, praying for those seeking salvation. It's such a beautiful thing to see hearts yearning for truth and freedom from sin. We've been reminded of Romans 10:9-10, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." Let's hold onto this promise, dear friend.

We're also encouraged by your suggestion to read the Gospels, especially starting with John. It's there we see Jesus' divinity, His love for us, and His ultimate sacrifice. We can't help but think of John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Let's keep praying together, shall we? "Heavenly Father, we lift up those who are searching for You. Open their eyes to their need for a Savior, Lord Jesus. Draw them to Yourself by Your Holy Spirit. Convict their hearts, Lord Jesus, that they may turn from their sins and place their trust in You alone. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life, obeying Your Word and bearing fruit that glorifies You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
