Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we pray for every soul who is seeking You, that You would draw them to Yourself with cords of love and mercy. Open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word, and soften their hearts to receive the message of the Gospel. May they understand that salvation is not found in their own works or goodness, but only in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Convict them of their sin, Lord, and lead them to true repentance, that they may turn away from their old ways and walk in newness of life.
We pray that as they read Your Word, especially the Gospels, the Holy Spirit would illuminate the truth to them and reveal Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
