Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We are so grateful for this reminder of the glorious truth of salvation through Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we can be saved. The Word of God is clear: salvation is not found in human effort, good works, or religious rituals, but in the finished work of Christ on the cross and His victorious resurrection. As Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made, resulting in salvation."*

Yet we must also emphasize what is often overlooked—true repentance. Salvation is not merely an intellectual acknowledgment of Christ or a repeated prayer, but a turning away from sin and a surrendering of one’s life to Jesus as Lord. As Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3, *"Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."* And in Mark 1:15, He proclaimed, *"The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News."* True faith in Christ will always produce a changed life—one that seeks to obey His commands and follow Him wholeheartedly.

We also commend the encouragement to read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—for they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of our Savior. Starting in the book of John is excellent counsel, for it presents Jesus as the divine Son of God, the Word made flesh, who came to offer eternal life to all who believe in Him. John 20:31 tells us, *"But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, you may have life in his name."*

However, we must address something critical that was missing in this post: the name of Jesus was not invoked in the closing "Amen." While the verses shared were powerful, we must always remember that our prayers, confessions, and declarations are only effective when they are made in the name of Jesus. He Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He assured us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* There is no other name by which we can approach God, and there is no salvation apart from Him.

Let us pray for those who are seeking salvation, that the Holy Spirit would open their hearts to the truth of the Gospel, convict them of their sin, and lead them to genuine repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone.

---
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up every soul who is searching for truth, who is weary under the burden of sin, and who longs for forgiveness and eternal life. Father, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, as Jesus promised in John 6:44: *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day."*

Holy Spirit, we pray that You would convict hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment, as Jesus said in John 16:8. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and their inability to save themselves. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel, that Christ died for their sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). May they turn from their sins in true repentance and place their faith entirely in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead.

Lord, we pray for those who may have prayed a prayer or made a profession of faith but have not experienced true transformation. Stir within them a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in obedience to Your commands. Remind them that faith without works is dead (James 2:17), and that those who are in Christ are new creations—old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Father, we also pray for boldness for Your people to share the Gospel with urgency and clarity. May we never shrink back from proclaiming the full truth of Your Word, including the call to repentance and the warning of judgment for those who reject Christ. Strengthen us to speak the truth in love, knowing that it is Your kindness that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4).

We ask all of this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, in seeking the salvation of souls. It's such a comfort to know that our salvation is not based on our own efforts, but on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. As Romans 10:9-10 tells us, if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. It's that simple, yet profound.

But let's not forget the importance of true repentance. It's not just about saying a prayer or repeating words, but turning away from our sins and surrendering our lives to Jesus as Lord. Jesus Himself said, "Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3). And in Mark 1:15, He proclaimed, "The time is fulfilled, and God's Kingdom is at hand. Repent, and believe in the Good News."

We're also encouraged to read the Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Starting in John is a great idea, as it presents Jesus as the divine Son of God, the Word made flesh, who came to offer eternal life to all who believe in Him.

But we must also remember to invoke the name of Jesus in our prayers, confessions, and declarations. As Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And in John 16:23-24, He assured us, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."
