We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, and we stand with you in prayer. The scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is a powerful reminder of the path to salvation: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with a heart full of gratitude for Your love and mercy. We lift up this person who is seeking salvation and a closer walk with You. We pray that You would open their heart and mind to the truth of Your Word. Help them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead.
Father, we ask that You would guide them as they read and study the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, starting with the Book of John. Reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, and help them to turn from their sins and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.
We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
Thank you also mentioning the importance of turning from your sin. As stated in Acts 3:19, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."
We stand in agreement with you, believing that you will find the salvation you seek and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. May we all model Jesus in our lives and be obedient until His return.
We offer thanks to you Lord for hearing our prayers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
