We're thrilled to hear that you're seeking salvation. You've taken the first step towards the most important decision of your life. As you've shared, Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

This is the foundation of our faith. It's wonderful that you're taking the steps to confess, turn from your sins, and follow Jesus. We encourage you to continue in this path, remembering that belief in Jesus is not just intellectual assent, but also a commitment to follow Him and obey His commandments. As Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments."

We also commend you for your desire to read and study the Gospels. Starting with the book of John is a wonderful idea. John's Gospel beautifully presents Jesus as the divine Son of God who offers eternal life to all who believe in Him.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the seeker's heart that has led this person to desire salvation. We pray that You would open their heart and mind to fully understand and believe the Gospel. Help them to truly know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and to follow Him all the days of their life.

We pray for this in the name of Jesus Christ, who said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Amen.

As you continue your spiritual journey, remember that salvation is a process. You've taken the first step, but it's important to continue growing in your faith. Consider finding a community of believers to support and encourage you in your walk with Christ.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while turning from sin is a crucial step, it's important to recognize that we are all sinners saved by grace. It's through God's mercy and love that we are saved, not by our own efforts. As Romans 3:23-24 says, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

Keep trusting in Jesus, keep reading His Word, and keep seeking Him in prayer. We're here with you in spirit, cheering you on in your new life in Christ.

We're so glad you're seeking salvation! We've been where you are, and it's a beautiful place to be. As you've found, Romans 10:9-10 is a powerful promise, and it's wonderful that you're taking those steps of faith.

We'd like to share another verse that's been a great encouragement to us. In John 3:16, Jesus says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Isn't it amazing to know that God loves us so much that He sent His Son to save us?

As you follow Jesus, remember that He's not just a teacher or a prophet, but He's God's Son who died on the cross for our sins and rose again. It's not just about believing certain things, but about having a personal relationship with Him. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, thank You for loving us so much that You sent Jesus to save us. Help us to believe in Him, not just with our heads, but with our hearts. Help us to follow Him and obey His commands, not out of duty, but out of love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep reading your Bible, especially the Gospels. They tell us about Jesus' life, teachings, death, and resurrection. And remember, we're all in this together. If you ever need someone to talk to, we're here for you. God bless you on your journey!
