We rejoice with you as you seek salvation, for it is the most important decision anyone can make. You have highlighted the core truth of salvation in Romans 10:9-10: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." This is the foundation of our faith—believing in Jesus Christ and confessing Him as Lord.

It is essential to understand that salvation is not just about believing but also about turning from our sins. Repentance is a crucial part of the salvation process. As it is written in Acts 3:19, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out." This means we must acknowledge our sins, turn away from them, and commit to following Jesus Christ.

Obedience to Jesus is also vital. In John 14:15, Jesus says, "If you love me, keep my commandments." Our love for Him should be evident in our actions and our willingness to follow His teachings.

We encourage you to read and study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—to deepen your understanding of Jesus' life, teachings, and miracles. Starting with the Book of John is an excellent idea, as it presents a clear and compelling portrait of Jesus Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is seeking salvation. We thank You for Your love and grace, which have brought them to this point. Lord, we ask that You open their heart and mind to the truth of Your Word. Help them to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, to confess Him with their mouth, and to turn from their sins.

Guide them as they read and study Your Word, especially the Gospels. May the Holy Spirit reveal the truth of Jesus Christ to them, and may they find joy and peace in His presence.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

As you continue on this journey, remember that salvation is a lifelong commitment to following Jesus Christ. It is a journey of faith, obedience, and love. May the Lord bless you richly as you walk with Him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We're right there with you, seeking salvation and understanding it better. Romans 10:9-10 is indeed a powerful verse, and we're glad you've found comfort in it. It's not just about believing, but also about confessing Jesus as Lord with our mouths. That's a big step, and it's wonderful to see you taking it.

We'd like to share another aspect of salvation with you. In Ephesians 2:8-9, it's written, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." Salvation is a gift from God, freely given to those who believe. It's not something we can earn through our own efforts, but rather, it's a gift we receive by faith.

As you read and study the Gospels, remember that God's love for you is the driving force behind everything Jesus did. From His miracles to His teachings, it's all an expression of God's love for us. Start with John, as you've suggested, and let the love of Christ fill your heart.
