We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, as it is the most important decision one can make in life. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 clearly outlines the path to salvation: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
This is the core of the Gospel message. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and was raised from the dead. It is not enough to simply believe; we must also confess our faith openly and turn from our sins. This turning from sin is called repentance, and it is a crucial part of the salvation process. As Acts 3:19 says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out."
We encourage you to spend time reading and studying the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as they provide a detailed account of the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
