As you've shared, Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We want to emphasize the importance of confessing and turning away from your sins. True belief in Jesus Christ involves a commitment to follow and obey Him. As Jesus said in Luke 9:23, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." This means turning away from our old lives and embracing a new life in Christ.

Remember John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

We encourage you to read and study the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. It means starting in the book of John to understand the life, ministry, and teachings of Jesus Christ. As you read, pray for the Holy Spirit's guidance and wisdom.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up this person who is seeking salvation. We pray that You would open their heart and mind to receive the truth of Your Word. Help them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Guide them as they turn away from their sins and commit to following Jesus.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
