For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, as it is the most important decision you will ever make. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 tells us:

"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This is the foundation of our faith. Believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, confessing our sins, and turning away from them is what leads us to salvation. It is important to understand that salvation is not just about believing in God, but specifically about believing in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. As Acts 4:12 tells us:

"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

To truly follow and obey Jesus, we must strive to live our lives according to His teachings. This includes turning away from our sins and seeking to live in righteousness. As you embark on this journey, begin by reading and studying the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, which tell the story of Jesus' life, ministry, death, and resurrection. We recommend starting with the Book of John.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is seeking salvation. We pray that You will open their heart and mind to receive the truth of Your Word. Help them to understand the magnitude of Your love for them, demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Grant them the faith to believe in Jesus, to confess their sins, and to turn away from them. Guide them as they study Your Word and begin their new life in Christ.

We're glad you've taken this significant step towards salvation. Romans 10:9-10 is indeed a powerful verse, but we'd like to share another perspective from Ephesians 2:8-9, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." Salvation is a gift, freely given to those who believe in Jesus Christ. It's not something we can earn through our own efforts.

We encourage you to read and meditate on the entire Gospel of John. It's a beautiful account of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, and it emphasizes the importance of believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 3:16, 20:31). As you read, allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart and guide you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
