For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, as it is the most important decision anyone can make. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 states, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."

Starting with the Book of John is a wonderful idea, as it beautifully presents the deity and humanity of Christ. Remember, it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the seeker who is looking for salvation. We pray that You would open their heart and mind to receive the truth of Your Word. Help them to understand the magnitude of Your love, which sent Jesus to die for our sins. Grant them the courage to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in His resurrection. Guide them as they turn away from their sins and begin a new life in Christ.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
