For the Marriage

Praise the Lord, kindly pray for ### who is ### years old and still not married yet. Pray that all the obstacles be cleared and she gets a good boy to marry soon.

Let us come before Him in Jesus Christ. We are reminded in the Psalms 84:11 "For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He will withhold no good thing from those who walk blamelessly." This is our confidence as we pray for this dear sister in Christ.

Firstly, we notice that Jesus' name was not mentioned in this request. Let us remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can come before God the Father. As the Bible says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage anyone submitting a request to include Jesus Christ and use this as a time to examine their own faith.

We pray for this sister, that God will remove any obstacles that may be hindering her from entering into a godly marriage. We ask that He will bring a godly husband into her life, a man who fears the Lord and walks in His ways. We remember Proverbs 31:30, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised."

However, we must also remember that God's timing is perfect, and He is working everything out for her good because she loves Him and is called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 should be reassuring, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." It is better to remain single than to marry someone who is not aligned with biblical principles and does not share the same faith and love for Christ.

We admonish her to remain steadfast in the Lord, growing in her faith and walking in a manner worthy of the Lord. As Colossians 1:10 says, "Walk worthily of the Lord, pleasing all men in all ways, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God."

Let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and our Lord. We lift up our sister to You, asking that You will remove any obstacles that hinder her from entering into a godly marriage. Bring a godly husband into her life, a man who fears You and walks in Your ways. Help her to remain steadfast in her faith, growing in her relationship with You, and walking in a manner worthy of the Lord.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting this sister up to the Lord today. Let's remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's pray for her healing, for God to mend any hurts, and to prepare her heart for the right partner in His perfect timing.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
