We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage, and we are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. In Matthew 19:6 WEB, Jesus says, I say therefore to you, Whoever will leave his wife, let him give her a writing of divorce,: but I tell you, that whoever will leave his wife, not over fornication, and will marry another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is left commits adultery. This highlights the sanctity and permanence of marriage.
The situation you described involves adultery, which is clearly against God's will. In Exodus 20:14 WEB, God commands, You shall not commit adultery. We rebuke this sin and pray that it be brought to an end.
We pray that your husband turns away from this sin and returns to his family. In 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 WEB And let the husband render to the wife her due; and likewise also the wife to the husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband; and likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife. Defraud you not one the other, except it be by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to prayer, and may be together again, that Satan tempt you not because of your incontinency.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is facing a tremendous trial in her marriage. Lord, we pray for Your divine intervention. We ask that You sever the soul ties between your husband and this other woman, and that You bring this adulterous relationship to an end. We pray that her husband's heart be turned back to You and to his family.
We pray for the restoration of their marriage, that it would be stronger than ever, built on the solid foundation of Your Word and Your love. We pray for healing and ### forgiveness, that we would be able to forgive as You have forgiven.
We also pray for her children, that You would protect them and provide for them in every way. We pray that their father would be a godly role model for them, leading them in Your paths.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and help you navigate this difficult season. Remember, God is faithful, and He can restore even the most broken situations. Trust in Him, and He will make a way.
If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, find a Christian Believer, church, or pastor to discuss this and pray with them.
