For The Bond Of Love To Be Restored

Hello everyone,

I am new to this prayer group.

An event that recently occurred made me turn towards God for answers. My girlfriend and lover of 14 months left me. The reason that we could be no more was never really apparent to me and I am still very confused. I still love her very very much, but I believe that she may like someone else. She told me that she would always love me, but I don't know what to think. It pains me to see her talking to him on -banned site- and communicating. My name is ### and her name is ###. There was a time when we were very much in love and we even talked of spending the rest of our lives together. I fear that for a time I had lost sight of what really was important in my life, but now that we are no more I see all the mistakes I made and how lucky I was. I have prayed a rosary everyday since we broke up about 3 weeks ago for God to give me guidance and help repair our relationship. God has given me quite a few signs, but I am not exactly sure what they mean and she still does not want to get back together. I still pray everyday and I still hurt deeply. I loved her so very much. She still wants to be friends though she says and we still send small emails to each other even though they are not always quite as friendly as I hope. If you have any advice for me please feel free to tell me and please good people keep me and her in your prayers. In God's name, Amen.

I have just come through a similar situation as you. Whenever we believers are living out of God's will we can expect the Lord to call us back to him through whatever means possible. It is difficult but try to keep your focus on the Lord Jesus and make him your priority. You will have peace that way and if it's God's will you will get back together with your girlfriend.

Father, I pray you would bless ### and draw him near to you. Lord, give him peace in this situation and protect his heart and mind from hurtful thoughts. Lord, heal him and work your will in his life and the life of his beloved. Father, fill ### with your Holy Spirit and make a relationship between you and him. Give him wisdom, Lord, and knowledge of you and to see what he must do. In Jesus' name. Amen.

May you make your way known to your child in which way he should go, help him know that you are all he needs and you can restore his situations and bless him in all that he does.

Concerning him and his girlfriend, Lord, only you know what is best and I pray that you make your will known to both couples.

I pray for their faith to grow stronger in you, may they reach to you as Lord and Savior to the glory of your name.
