For successful fellowship

We have fellowship tomorrow at my home. Wednesday evening fellowship. We're preparing food for them tomorrow. So I want prayer request for our tomorrow's sucessful fellowship. Food's to be ready in time, all the preparation to be done in time bfor fellowship people arrives.not to feel hectic, or tired untill food preparation is done. Evry thing to go systematic And songs to be sung we'll tomorrow. Prayers to be done we'll tomorrow for satisfaction fellowship evening tomorrow. In Jesus name Amen. Thank you.

We join with you in prayer for your Wednesday evening fellowship tomorrow at your home and we thank God for your willing heart to open your home in hospitality and to serve the body of Christ in this way.

The Word reminds us how good and precious fellowship is when believers gather together, for it says Psalm 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity, and Acts 2:46 Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart. We are also exhorted in Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another. Your desire to prepare well and to have songs and prayers offered in order is pleasing to the Lord, for 1 Corinthians 14:40 says Let all things be done decently and in order.

We also hear your concern not to feel hectic or weary as you prepare, and we pray the Lord will be your strength and your peace. He promises in Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength, and in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that as you work, you may do it unto the Lord, for Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, and that you may show hospitality without grumbling as we are taught in 1 Peter 4:9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling and Romans 12:13 pursuing hospitality.

We lift you up together now in Jesus name, for it is through His name we have access to the Father and it is in His name we pray.

Father in heaven, we thank You for this home that will be opened for fellowship tomorrow evening. We thank You for every brother and sister who will gather and for the hunger to sing, to pray, and to share together. We ask You to bless the hands that prepare the food, that all preparation would be done in time and in good order, that nothing would be lacking or rushed, and that everything would go systematically according to Your grace. Grant rest and renewed strength so that weariness and haste do not overtake our dear host, but that Your peace would guard the heart and home. Anoint the songs that will be sung tomorrow, that they may be sung with grace in the heart to You, as Colossians 3:16 teaches, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. Anoint the prayers that will be offered, that they would be fervent and in one accord and bring satisfaction and edification to all. Let this fellowship be filled with Your presence, with joy, with encouragement, and with the unity of the Spirit. May all who come be refreshed and may Your name be glorified in all that is done. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We're thankful you're opening your home for fellowship tomorrow and we hear how much you want it to be a calm, joyful evening for everyone.

Hosting takes a lot of work and it's understandable to want the food and preparation to come together without feeling rushed or exhausted before people even arrive. We are praying with you for strength for tomorrow, for the cooking and setting up to go in good order and on time, and for peace in your home as guests gather. We're also praying the time of singing and prayer is uplifting and leaves everyone encouraged.

Something that often helps on a hosting day is to lighten tomorrow itself where you can. If you're able tonight, set out what you can ahead, make a short simple timeline for tomorrow working backward from the arrival time, and consider asking one trusted person to come a little early to help serve or tidy so you can be present for the fellowship itself rather than still working in the kitchen.

We appreciate your heart to serve your community this way. It is a beautiful picture of partnership when believers share a meal, pray together, and encourage one another in a home.

Father, we bring this home and this fellowship to You. Give rest and energy for the preparations, help everything be ready in good time, and let tomorrow evening be orderly and peaceful. Bless the food, the songs and the prayers, and let each person leave built up and grateful. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request for the fellowship tomorrow evening has been heard with thankfulness, and it is a good and gracious desire to seek the Lord's blessing upon the gathering in your home. It is well to prepare the food and to order all things with care, but it is better still to seek that the Master Himself shall be present, for our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.

Whenever you feel that you have something to do that is beyond you, stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more strength. He gives power to the faint and to them that have no might He increases strength. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Therefore wait upon Him in the kitchen as well as in the closet, and He will make your hands sufficient for the preparation and keep your spirit from being hectic or weary. If the duties press and the hour seems short, remember that to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Your peace may be as a river if your mind is stayed upon Him, for He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him, because he trusts in Him.

Remember also that true fellowship rises higher than food and friendly converse. There is a fellowship of communion in which we speak with Christ, a fellowship of sympathy in which we feel with Him, and a fellowship of unity in which we are joined to Him. Pray that your home may know this deeper fellowship tomorrow, that Christ may be the center and the sweetness of the evening, and that all who come may have fellowship with you in the peace you feel with God and in the access you have to His throne.

And concerning the singing and the prayers, take care that the heart be there. God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Let there be good music and noble words, for these are congruous to noble thoughts, but oh let the thoughts be there, let the song be there. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace makes the truest melody.

We join our prayers with yours and commend your home to the Lord.

O Father of mercies, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, look graciously upon this household which would open its doors for Thy people. Give order and quietness to all the preparation, that the food may be made ready in due season and everything be done decently and without haste. Keep Thy servant from weariness and from distraction, and let perfect peace rule the heart through trust in Thee. Let the songs be sung with grace in the heart and the prayers be offered in spirit and in truth, so that all who gather may be edified and Thy name be glorified. Let the fellowship be not of form only, but of true communion with Thee and with one another in Christ. Renew strength as it is needed, and let the evening be to the satisfaction of all and to the praise of Thy grace. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.
