For sleep and peace
We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your need for rest, peace, and freedom from the burdens that weigh heavily on your heart. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." We stand on this promise, believing that Jesus is your true source of rest and peace.
We also hold fast to Philippians 4:6-7, which says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Your heart can be lightened as you cast your cares upon Him, trusting that He hears you and will answer according to His perfect will.
Father God, we come before You now, asking that You would release [###] from the burdens that have made their heart heavy. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of anxiety, fear, and unrest that seeks to disturb their peace. In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare that their mind is set free, and their heart is made light. We ask that You grant them sound, refreshing rest—sleep that restores their body, mind, and spirit. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let Your clarity and leading be upon them as they seek Your will in all things.
We pray that You would surround them with Your presence, reminding them that they are never alone. Let them feel the comfort of Your love and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust You more deeply with every concern. May they wake each day with a renewed sense of purpose, hope, and joy, knowing that You are their refuge and strength.
We also ask that You would reveal to them any areas of their life where they may be carrying unnecessary burdens—whether through sin, unforgiveness, or misplaced priorities. If there is anything that does not align with Your will, Lord, bring it to light and grant them the grace to surrender it fully to You. Help them to walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them (Galatians 5:1).

We're here with you, friend, lifting up your desire for rest, peace, and a heart free from burdens. We're reminded of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
