We are joining with you right now as you wait for this preoperative check-up and we lift you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.
We pray for peace to guard your heart and mind while you wait, and for favor and clarity in this appointment. We ask the Lord to give your doctor wisdom, discernment, and attentiveness to every issue you are bringing before him, that nothing would be overlooked and that the path forward for your care would be made clear. We pray that this visit would be productive and positive, and that the Lord would guide every test, every question, and every decision made today.
We are reminded that the Lord is our healer and that He often works through the hands and knowledge of physicians. Scripture says, I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and also But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We take comfort that whether healing comes instantly by His hand or through the careful work of doctors, all healing ultimately comes from Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear one before You in this waiting room moment. You see the anxiety and the hope mixed together as they wait to be seen. We ask that You calm their spirit and let Your peace rest upon them. Grant the doctor clear eyes and a wise mind to understand each of the different issues presented, to order what is needed and to give good counsel for the surgery ahead. We ask for a smooth and thorough check-up, for good communication, and for Your hand to be over every result and recommendation. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body and for strength for the days ahead, trusting that You are in control of all things. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to cast all your anxiety upon Him in this moment, for In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. He knows the plans He has for you and He cares deeply for your body and soul.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him and to call upon His name, for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. We pray you know the comfort of approaching God as your Father through Jesus today and in every appointment to come.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer as you wait for this preoperative check up.
It is a good and wise thing to seek the help that God has provided through physicians, and it is a still better thing to look above the instrument to the Great Physician Himself. As one has said, when a man with a disease goes to an eminent physician he trusts him with his case, and so we are to trust the Lord Jesus with soul and body alike. You may therefore tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it.
We pray that the Lord will keep you in that perfect peace which He promises to those whose minds are stayed upon Him, because they trust in Him. Though duties press and anxieties rise while you wait, to do the will of Jesus is rest, and His blood whispers peace within. May that peace guard your heart in the waiting room and in the examination itself.
We ask our gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, to make this appointment productive and positive. Grant wisdom and clarity to the doctor, guide his judgment concerning each of your different issues, and grant that all that is necessary for your health and for the preparation for surgery may be clearly seen and well ordered. We thank Him that all healing virtue is in Christ, whose stripes heal us and whose grace is the one true fountain of health for soul and body. May He lay His hand upon you and keep you in perpetual care until that day when He shall perfectly heal and restore all His own.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You.
