We lift you up before our Heavenly Father, our sister in Christ, as you seek His blessing for a child. The desire for motherhood is a precious and godly longing, and we know the Lord hears the cries of His children. The Scriptures remind us that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127:3). We also remember how Hannah, in her deep anguish, poured out her heart before the Lord, and He answered her prayer by giving her Samuel (1 Samuel 1:10-20). Just as God opened her womb, we trust He can do the same for you in His perfect timing.
However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that your trust is fully placed in the Lord, not just in the medical treatments. While we pray for the success of your treatments, we remind you that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect (Isaiah 55:8-9). If it is His will, He will grant you this desire, but even if the answer tarries or looks different than you hope, we pray you will continue to trust in His goodness and sovereignty. The apostle Paul reminds us that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
We also want to gently remind you that when we come before the Lord in prayer, we are to do so in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace. We do not see you invoking the name of Jesus in your request, and we urge you to always pray in His name, for He is our mediator and the source of all blessings.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who longs for the blessing of a child. Lord, You are the giver of life, and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We ask that You would bless the treatments she is undergoing and bring forth fruitfulness in her womb according to Your will. Father, just as You remembered Rachel and opened her womb (Genesis 30:22), we pray that You would remember our sister and grant her the desire of her heart if it aligns with Your perfect plan.
We ask for patience and trust to fill her heart as she waits upon You, Lord. Help her to surrender her timeline to Yours and to find peace in knowing that You are in control. Strengthen her faith and remind her that You are good, regardless of the outcome. Surround her with Your comfort and the support of godly community as she walks this journey.
If there is any area of her life that needs surrender or repentance, Lord, reveal it to her and grant her the grace to walk in obedience. May she seek You first above all else, knowing that You are her greatest reward (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in her heart. Instead, we declare that her hope is in You alone, and we trust that You will work all things together for her good. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, spending time in His Word and in prayer. Trust that He sees you, He hears you, and He loves you deeply. If you have not already, consider fasting and praying with your husband (if you are married) as you seek the Lord together for this blessing. If you are not married, we pray that the Lord would also guide you into a godly marriage if that is His will, for marriage is the biblical context in which children are to be raised (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 6:1-4).
Stay steadfast in faith, and may the Lord bless you abundantly as you wait upon Him. We will continue to pray for you and ask that you keep us updated on how the Lord is working in your life.
