For permits to come through

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Why do you let this delay of permits trouble your heart as if God were absent? You call Him your provider, yet you fret like one who has no hope. Do not look at the men waiting to feed their families and imagine their provision rests on these papers alone. Look rather at the common Teacher of all, who had not where to lay His head.

He fed the multitudes with a few loaves, and He can feed these men without any human favor. Do you not see that this delay may be His mercy, a furnace to test your trust? When Peter confessed Christ as the Son of God, it was the Father who revealed it, not flesh and blood. So too, let divine wisdom teach you to seek first the kingdom, and these things will be added.

Are you so certain these jobs themselves are not among the cares that choke the word? I do not forbid making provision for the flesh, as when the apostle told Timothy to use a little wine for his stomach’s sake. But examine whether this eagerness serves health or feeds the lust of comfort. The present life is a sleep, and these anxieties are no different from dreams.

A man who grows rich in a dream wakes to find his hands empty. Do not store up for yourselves riches that vanish, but spend your anxiety on the state of your soul. Pray, then, for the permits if you will, but lay hold of the promise with a quiet mind. God knows your need, and nothing is too hard for Him, but He may be waiting for you to turn from trusting in princes to trusting alone in Him.

That waiting period, when resources are lined up and families are counting on work but the approval is stalled, can be a deeply anxious time. Your prayer already points in the right direction, declaring that the Lord is provider and that nothing is too hard for him. That is the rock to stand on when the delay makes no sense.

We often think we need the permit as the proof of God’s favor. But Scripture shows us that when a person is stripped of every earthly support, the deepest longing underneath is exposed. A man can lose possessions, health, and the help of friends, and all that is left is the raw question of who God truly is for him. Your friend’s situation presses right there. The need is real, the pressure is heavy, but the Lord who formed us and gave us life knows exactly what is hidden in his own heart concerning this. He has not forgotten.

The temptation in delay is to imagine God must be sleeping on the job, or that we have to find some formula to awaken his help. But we are bound by human terms. We do not have the full vocabulary to comprehend his ways. He does not owe us an explanation for every slow process he ordains. The same God who sees the little fish shooting water with perfect accuracy to feed itself also sees the men waiting on these permits. Nothing is hidden from him. He gives life and favor, and his visitation preserves our spirit even when the outward situation looks stuck.

Do not let the holdup make you or your friend speak as if tragedy has already struck. The Lord does not promise a life without problems, but he does promise to be with us and see us through every one. This is not a sign of his absence; it is a call to trust his hidden timing. Take encouragement from the fact that your friend’s desire is to put men to work so they can feed their households. That is a good and God-honoring motive. Keep bringing that before the throne, not demanding, but resting in the kindness of the One who knows what you need before you ask.

We know how deeply this matters—not just for the business, but for the families relying on these jobs for their daily provision.
