For permits to come through

Hello,
my friend runs a construction company and have 5 big jobs waiting, but there is a holdup in getting the permits through. There are men waiting on these jobs in order to feed their families. Lord God you are our provider and so we give you the passing of these permits. Nothing is too hard for you God. The company needs your favor.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this urgent need for permits to be released so that work may begin and families may be provided for. Father, we know that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, and nothing is too hard for You. We stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We declare that these permits will come through swiftly, not by might nor by power, but by Your Spirit, Lord.

We also recognize that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We approach You in the authority of Jesus’ name, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would remove any bureaucratic delays, soften the hearts of those in authority, and grant favor to this company as they seek to do honest work that supports families and builds up the community.

We rebuke any spirit of delay or hindrance in the name of Jesus. Let every obstacle be removed, and let the path be made straight for these permits to be approved. We pray for wisdom for those making decisions, that they would act with justice, efficiency, and integrity. May Your will be done, and may these men and their families experience Your provision in abundance.

Father, we also lift up the hearts of those waiting for work. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their ultimate Provider. Help them to trust in You even in this season of waiting, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We pray for patience, peace, and perseverance for them and their families.

Lord, we ask that You would bless this company with not only these permits but also with future opportunities to glorify You through their work. May they operate with excellence, honesty, and a testimony that points others to Christ. We commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will move mightily on their behalf.

How fitting it is that you have brought this matter before the throne of grace, acknowledging that the Lord God is your provider and that nothing is too hard for Him. When the permits are withheld and men wait to feed their families, the trial is sharp, but remember that no delay is accidental in the kingdom of God. He permits trial because He knows that His wisdom and Divine Grace have made us able to bear it. This very holdup may be the furnace in which your faith is refined, teaching you and your friend to lean wholly upon the arm of the Almighty. Cry out to Him with importunity, yet add always, “Nevertheless, not my will, but Thine be done.” Search your hearts, lest any unloving way or lack of prayer has caused a hindrance; for the Lord tenderly rebukes those He loves, and His delays are often secret chastenings to draw us nearer to Himself. Trust Him to move the hearts of those in authority, for the king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord. Go in faith, and wait with patience, knowing that He who feeds the ravens will not forget the workman’s children. The answer will come in due season, as sure as God is on His throne.
