We lift this situation before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing that strife and anger can bring deep pain to a home. The Word of God tells us, *"A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger quiets contention"* (Proverbs 15:18 WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully in this home, softening hearts and bringing the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we ask You to intervene in this situation. Where there is anger, bring Your gentle correction. Where there is tension, let Your presence fill the room. We rebuke the spirit of strife in Jesus’ name and declare that Your peace would reign. *"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God"* (Matthew 5:9 WEB). May this visitor be touched by Your love, and may those around him respond with patience and grace.
We also pray for wisdom for those in the home—let them not react in flesh but respond in love. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB). May this time of visitation be redeemed for Your glory, and may all involved experience the transforming power of Your peace.

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
