We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His provision and sovereignty over all things, including our work and businesses. The Scriptures remind us in **Colossians 3:23-24**, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* We also recall **Proverbs 16:3**, which teaches us to *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* These verses assure us that when we align our efforts with God’s will and seek His guidance, He will direct our paths and bless the work of our hands.
Yet we must also remember that success, as the world defines it, is not always God’s primary concern for us. His desire is that we seek first His Kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will provide what we need (Matthew 6:33). While we pray for the prosperity of this company, we must also pray that its leadership and employees would honor God in all they do, operating with integrity, fairness, and generosity. A business that seeks to glorify God will reflect His values—caring for employees, serving customers with honesty, and stewarding resources wisely.
We notice that this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through faith in Jesus and by His name that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Without Jesus, our prayers lack the power and authority that come from being in right relationship with God. If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus alone that we can bring our requests to God.
Now, let us pray together for this company, submitting this request to the Lord in Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this company, ###, before Your throne of grace. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and the One who provides all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would grant wisdom to the leadership of this company, that they would seek Your will in every decision and lead with integrity, compassion, and excellence. Lord, we pray for increased sales and cash flow, not for the sake of greed or worldly success, but so that this company may honor You by providing stable employment, fair wages, and benefits that reflect Your care for Your people. Protect the jobs of those who depend on this company for their livelihood, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
We pray for the employees of ###, that they would find favor in their work and be a light for Christ in their workplace. May they work with diligence and joy, knowing that they serve You above all. Restore the health benefits that have been lost, Lord, and provide for every need according to Your will. Help this company to meet and exceed its targets, not by unethical means, but through Your blessing and the hard work of those who trust in You.
Father, we also pray that this company would be a place where Your name is honored. May the leaders and employees alike come to know You as their Provider and Savior. Soften hearts to receive Your truth, and draw many to Yourself through the testimony of this business.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, lack, or desperation that may be at work in this situation. We declare that You, Lord, are the God of abundance, and You delight in blessing Your children when they walk in obedience to You. Let Your favor rest upon ###, and may this company be a tool for Your glory and the advancement of Your Kingdom.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all honor and praise. Amen.
