We join you in prayer for these preoperative labs and especially for your kidney function, and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you in Jesus' name. We understand how waiting for blood work results can bring anxiety, and we bring this concern to our Heavenly Father together, trusting His care over your body and your health.

We are reminded of His promises to be our strength and healer. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We also cling to Psalm 103:2-3 which says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You together in Jesus' name. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing hand upon their body. We pray that every part of these preoperative labs would come back normal and that kidney function would be shown to be healthy and strong. Lord, You formed the kidneys and You know every detail of this body, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We ask that You would guide the hands of the medical team and grant wisdom for the procedure ahead. We pray for Your perfect peace to guard this heart while waiting for results, casting out all fear, and we trust Your will is good and perfect. We thank You in advance for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to rest in His peace as you wait. God is your Great Physician and He cares deeply for you. Whether the results bring immediate relief or call for further care, He remains with you and will strengthen you. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Keep trusting Him, keep thanking Him, and keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer. We are praying with you for normal results and for continued health.

We are joining you in what you named most clearly, asking the Lord for normal kidney function and for all of your preoperative labs to show what your surgical team needs to move forward safely. We are also praying for steadiness for you in these days between testing and hearing back, and for clear communication from your care team.

It can help to have a simple plan while you wait. If you have not already, you might confirm with your clinic how and when results will be shared and who to contact if you have not heard by then. That gives you a clear next point of contact so you do not have to carry the uncertainty alone. Continue to follow your doctors' guidance for any preparation they have given you, and reach out to them promptly with any questions about the results.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see these labs and You see the heart waiting for them. We ask for Your mercy over their kidney function and for normal results according to Your will, for wisdom for the doctors and nurses caring for them, and for Your peace to guard them until answers come. We have heard your earnest request concerning your preoperative blood work and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. You have asked that the Lord in His mercy would grant that your labs, and especially the measure of your kidney function, should be found normal, and we bring this petition to Him who hears prayer.

In this season of waiting, which so naturally stirs anxiety, we are reminded of the promise, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not dependent upon a favorable report, though we pray for one, but upon the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within. To do the will of Jesus and to rest your mind upon Him is rest even while duties and concerns press upon you. In Jesus keeping you are safe, and whether the report be as you hope, His love remains unmoved.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek the Physician, yet we know there is but one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored, and one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary. Christ Himself bore our sicknesses and with His stripes we are healed. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. Until the glory life begins, the abiding power of those healing leaves keeps the soul of the believer in health, and we know that our Lord is able to touch the body as well as to speak peace to the soul through perfect remission of sin by faith in Him.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we come in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who has made peace by His blood. We thank You that we have access through Him and that being justified by faith we have peace with You. We lay before You this Your servant who awaits these labors of the physician. Look in compassion upon this body which You have fearfully and wonderfully made. If it be Your gracious will, grant that these preoperative labs may return normal in every part and that the kidney function may be found whole and sound. Guide the hands and wisdom of those who provide care. Above all, grant a quiet trust, that inward peace which passes all understanding, and a firm confidence that whether in health or in need You remain the same faithful keeper. Heal as seems best to Your infinite wisdom, and prepare the heart to serve You in renewed strength. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our healing and our peace. Amen.
